I've never posted here before. I have perused your forum here for a while. I have not swallowed the pill as you say. Maybe half of it. I agree with many things here which I'll get to in a moment but there are other I either don't agree with or maybe just don't understand I haven't put much thought into it. But none of that is really the point of why I decided to make a post in a sub that I had only ever intended on browsing.

The reason I posted this is because I got banned from one of the more popular sub's yesterday because I had said I agreed with some of what I have taken to be the core ideas of this sub. That was followed by saying that indeed some of the guys here come off as assholes.

Yesterday there was a post in the "offmychest" sub. A girl was bitching that her long term boyfriend has started practicing some of the techniques or attitudes of trp and as far as she was concerned it was ruining every aspect of their relationship. I know that many posts from other sub's get linked here via an outside source/site as I don't believe direct links are allowed so maybe it got brought up here since it was posted. To paraphrase what she said "it was ruining her attraction to him, sexy time was no longer fun with him trying to direct everything she did and she didn't enjoy his constant rants about alpha male crap and how she was a crazy bitch".

My exact response to this was simply

"Stop bitching about it on reddit and go say something to him.

I've been by trp and read some of it. I wholeheartedly agree with the basic core of their message which is work on improving yourself. Physically, mentally, financially, etc.

But yes, some of them are assholes."

Now I wouldn't call that as showing support for a particular group there. I believe what I said to be the truth. The advice to work on bettering yourself whether it be one or multiple areas of your life when your looking to make a change in your life is always good advice, no matter who is saying. The biggest most raging feminazi giving that simple advice someone who wants to change the way things in their life is still good advice. That doesn't mean you can't go about acting on that advice in a bad, or maybe I should say hateful as you guys are according to omc mods, way. Deciding to not only accept, but be proud of, your body which happens to be 200 lbs over weight. Because god damn it I AM sexy and healthy. Fuck what you or my doctor has to say to the contrary.

I got an almost immediate pm saying I've been banned. When I inquired as to why they went straight to the ban hammer instead of just telling me what rules I broke so I could try and be more mindful in the future I was told that they don't need people in their sub that would defend a hate group like trp. When I pressed the fact that it was bullshit I was being banned not because I broke any rules but because I had apparently said something I saw as neither supportive or unsupportive of a sub that this mod personally didn't like. I got told I'd get the same shit if I had said something about white nationalism.

I guess what I'm getting at is I can't comprehend how any group that's core message is "work on improving yourself in every way" could possibly be considered a hate group. How the fuck did that kind of logic ever happen?
