I sat down today and I was thinking of writing a post reflecting the current state of trp and how it has been decaying in recent months and even years. When I stumbled across this post I lol 'd because it argues the exact opposite point I was going to try and make. So, I'll tell you why I have this opinion. I believe that trp should be more of a set of philosophies which the users can read, interpret and apply at their own accord. They can take them as their truth, or they can reject them. I value this higher order philosophical discussion because it allows each person to apply the points in more of a subconscious way, which I believe can benefit them for the duration of their life and in a wider range of situations. The reason I think emulating alpha behavior is useless, is because it does not address the underlying issues. The issues men are facing today are deep fucking rooted; they're spiritual in nature and require immediate and intense action to remedy. Our societies survival depends on it. This is why, when we teach young men to apply alpha traits to bang girls, we're not equipping them with the tools to achieve true success in their life, but equipping them with tools to apply another cheap thrill, another dopamine fix which further leads them down the path of suffering and pain. When a man is grounded in purpose and his anxiety calmed, he will display traits which resemble not only "the alpha" but the alpha of his very own unique and authentic brand; his true self.

I have yet to ever get laid while unemployed, or for coming from a dysfunctional family. In fact, I see a lot of needy betas locking up HB5-HB6's on the reg, probably because of the economy. At the time, starfish sex would have sounded like a great proposition versus loneliness. Wouldn't have been much different than drunken sex. When you're sad and beat down by the world, no one actually cares, at least not enough to fuck you back in shape. That's why I use my self-hate as renewable energy to be more of a man than the lucky ones in life. That way I'll be that much better than them once I have things, because then I'll have money AND balls.

I think the base idea is that self-development is a prerequisite to a sexual strategy is a reasonable point. Lifting in and of itself won't get you laid, but obviously if you get more fit, the odds are good you can approach more women with success.
