Your frame is what you believe about yourself and how that belief affects your words and actions. A strong frame is demonstrated by the inability of other people to make you doubt that belief and to make your words and behavior fall in line with their take on you instead of your own take on you. And that take you have about yourself is relentlessly positive. In a sense, it's a delusion that actually bends reality to its will. I'll give you an example:

My sophomore year in high school I knew this kid. He was a turd. Everyone said he was turd. He was the little brother of the former star QB that nearly took us to the State Championship the year before, but he was nothing like his brother.

His brother was 6'2", solidly built, good looking, could throw a football a mile, and ran like the wind. And this rubbed off on his confidence. He carried himself like a Spartan and girls would line up to date him.

His little brother, on the other hand, was 5'9"ish, about 125-130 lbs (rail thin) and really kinda sucked at everything. And people literally talked about how much he sucked. He seemed like everyone's favorite target, honestly.

But somehow, he was either ignorant of this fact, or he was completely impervious to it. He walked those halls like he had everything in the world going for him. He strutted like boss. He talked like a boss. He would never stand down to anybody. I saw him get his ass kicked like 10 times I shit you not. But if you talked to him after he got his ass kicked you would swear he thought he won the fight.

His delusion seemed to know no bounds.

But by the time I graduated high school I could probably count on one hand the number of girls in that school he hadn't been with. Whatever the girls were saying about him to his back, they apparently were letting him say to them in the back seat of his car.

It took me years to figure out what I had seen there with that guy. Now I know it has a word. And that word is FRAME.

Frame is Fucking easy. How do lawyers turn debates in their favour? By making good arguments, however that's only part of it. It's by shifting the jury's perception of the facts so that the case being presented to the court favors their point of view. Journalists do this too, essentially by refocusing or slanting or changing the angle of the discussion they're "reframing the discussion".

Frame as a concept in the manosphere is very similar but instead of a rhetorical tool it's a manifestation of your personality or actions. There's an old saying around here:

"PUA's are all game, no frame. MGTOW are all frame, no game."

When someone approaches you especially a women(who're prone to power-talk) holding frame or adjusting the frame of the encounter means you approach the encounter on your terms.

I think this is a good question poorly asked.

I remember when I worked a sales job several years ago, and I asked the top sales guy to tell me his secret. He didn't even blink... "Confidence."

Now, years later, I look back on it and think what he really meant was frame. He knew what he was talking about, but more importantly he knew that he knew what he was talking about.

He had accumulated the knowledge and experience over the years to know how to handle any situation a customer could throw at him.

This is frame. When you accumulate knowledge and experience in life, what you are building is frame.

Frame is realizing yr weaknesses, collecting some strength (i.e skills) and putting in place a plan of action, and preferably practicing that plan.

I've been viewing frame as my dedication to my own will. Bringing others into my frame makes them susceptible to my will. Leaving my frame means that somebody else's will is now influencing me.

It isn't necessarily about making everybody around you do what you want, though this will often happen, and subtly.

It also keeps you from doing things that aren't in line with your mission and goals.

I honestly just think of maintaining frame as keeping your cool and staying in the mood of your choosing not the mood someone else chooses or pushes you into.

This is truly a Jedi like skill that is useful in all relationships and is the foundation of leadership. Controlling yourself is the beginning of controlling others. As soon as you view your interactions through this lense it will be much easier to identify people who abuse you through emotional manipulation. These same people are typically far more susceptible to receiving a dose of their own medicine than you will be and you will control them easily with practice.

Imagine a situation where you and another man get into a heated conversation at a bar in front of a group of hot, beautiful women. You completely emasculate him at every turn, everything he says is wrong and dull, everything you say trumps him in the most witty way possible. You're a rhetorical god. If this were a presidential debate, you just won the election. The women witness this.

Having been thoroughly embarrassed, your rival flees the scene and hastily goes to pay for his tab. Fumbling through his pockets for his wallet, he accidentally drops his car keys onto the bar. His Lamborghini car keys. The women witness this.

Who do the women leave with at the end of the night?

Unless you have a Lambo yourself, I highly suspect it's the rival.

But for the sake of argument, lets assume your performance was so good, the women choose you that night. Who still has the larger pool of women to chose from the next day? The guy with or without the Lambo? You spent all your time studying rhetoric and "frame" to win the battle and lose the war.

Now you're thinking,

"But OP don't you see, the rival in your story is the beta buxx!! I'm the real alpha, I fuck the rich man's grill right behind is back hehe xd"

Oh darn, that's a real tragedy for the rival in our story LUL. Now he'll have to settle for the next supermodel in line for ride in his Lambo instead :(

Whatever happened to "she's not yours, it's just your turn"? That only applies when you're a broke ass "alpha" spitting hawt game widda solid frame?
