Probably a shit test. Otherwise, you may be taking it the wrong way. "Weird" means different, and that not always negative. If you follow RP principles you are very much weird since 90% of men in the 1st world are visibly susceptible to manipulation through sex (or the promise of sex).

That's why you'll hear women saying they like "simple" men - men they can figure out - not always predictable men, but willing to play into women's game (unaware of hypergamy, willing to trade commitment and resources for sex etc). Also why women will sometimes ask you very personal details out of the blue (your dreams, fears, "greatest weakness", most important thing in life..). Their need for emotional security drives them to find a way they can rope you in, a hook. It's all cutesy when they ask it but it's manipulative as fuck once you are RP aware.

Brush it off, "weird" is an insult only if it's used to reject you. Otherwise why the fuck does it even matter what they say.

I get this quite a bit. Don't take it serious, I never do. Just blast through it as you would with any other one. "I'm weird and wonderful", "Michael Jackson was weird, I'm just talented", etc.

I'm much like you, I end up hitting a playful, sarcastic and bold banter pattern. Is it bad? Well, they always come back for more.

I usually just get, "You're an asshole." among other gems like, "you're weird."

Most of the time they amount to "you're different." When I'm called an asshole though it's not always positive, but that depends on who's saying it. More often than not it's my female high school friends who want nothing more than to hold me into beta appeaser territory instead of breaking out into an alpha male. Any time a girl makes a statement about me though, I take it to mean that she's noting that I'm different than other guys, which means that she thinks differently about me. That above all else is positive and never think twice about those kinds of statements.

I get called an asshole or weird a lot. Yet my social circles are quite large, my friends love me, etc etc.

Its just another shit test in my book. If a girl calls me an asshole, i just respond with an agree/amplify statement or i simply just say you know you love assholes, you all do.

I've gotten this too... It usually refers to my sense of humor. A lot of things I say are out of left field, hit or miss. It's a great filtering mechanism. From my current gf, I take it as a good thing and usually retort with something asinine like, "that's because your gassy." Which is basically agreeing and amplifying... And also keeping her off the pedestal.

With my ex, however, I realize that in hindsight this was not a good thing. She essentially was saying, "your offbeat humor is tiresome and alienating." She had started working with a lot of middle aged guys who were still using lines from 90s SNL to get laughs. My "filtering mechanism" didn't play with those guys and, as I now realize, it as a DLV to her.

So, "you're weird" in and of itself doesn't mean anything. It has to be in context. Take those comedic risks with people... But know when to back off... Or move on.

I used to think I was weird too. After I had many bad interactions with girls who were just uncooperative bitches.

I get the "you're weird" all the time, even from friends. With close friends I try to get them to explain it to me. With women I want to have as potential mates I just say "The good kind of weird"
