This is called "emotional abuse" or "emotional unavailability" the lesser 'evil' a man could do to miss penispocket.

But that is also an unattractive quality because it means she can't exert the chase she needs to keep the relationship interesting. She needs her kid-mobile updated with new toys to paw at or she gets restless and aggetated that she can't overcome any emotional obstacles.

His "emotional intelligence" is a cliff buckle to her on the slope of life. She wants the freefall feeling but get caught by the ropes and swing around. But that is dangerous and she knows she needs to secure this long term prospect. She is torn to keeping herself attached to this guy that isn't going anywhere, but he is alive and well and can make a good life there, to the excitement of climbing without that safety net and for how much longer? She needs this kind of man, but as she says, she "only chases attractions that are immediate", and he has passed ripeness on her emotional freshness scale.

Is this how it should work?

There's a much younger man that I KNOW is not looking for anything serious but wants to take me out on a date and for sure wants to sleep with me.
