IUD's have been around for a very long time. So long, that women who were around when they became popular, are way past menopause if they're still alive at all

There are several types of IUD and all of them are pretty much foolproof. You get it inserted into the uterus and it's in there for 5 years or so.

Any woman who doesn't want to become pregnant, ought to have one inserted. In the long run, it's quite cheap as a birth control method.

If a woman becomes pregnant it's either because she wanted to become pregnant or because she's a stupid idiot who couldn't be bothered to get an IUD inserted.

And if she doesn't have enough money for an IUD (cough cough), she ought to close her legs and get to work until she does.

Pregnancy scares don't happen if you are responsible and proactive. If you are not even able to handle the means to prevent birth in the first place, then maybe you should not be having sex. And if birth control is considered morally wrong by you, then premarital sex would fall under those same standards. While I have my own opinions on birth control, those who are already failing to live by moral standards in sex would have no reason to be against using birth control.

And it is somehow controversial to say that you should not be having sec if you cannot handle either a pregnancy or birth control. I doubt this woman has those qualms, so why is she in this situation in the first place?

I don't know what she's so nervous about. I mean if she was actually pregnant she would only be losing the $250 it will take to murder the thing after everyone on twox tells he to get an abortion. I don't think riding a carousel has consequences . Well, actually there are actual consequences in terms of STDs, long term mental and emotional damage, but there is more to that.

Carousel riding is just an indicator of her personality and preference. She is unable to attract long-term relationships to herself and is incapable of holding one - and no, its hard-coded, and there's no amount of repenting at church / wisening up / getting older that is going to change that.
