The question is in the sentence. A lot of people say that a man will never go out of his way to talk to a girl unless he’s attracted or wants something, otherwise she’s practically invisible.

For instance a colleague asking for your social media handle but then replying to your Instagram stories to make conversation in your DMs. Or at the train station if you’re minding your own business and a guy comes and stands next to you and starts asking what you do for a living and how often you come there etc.

I think as women we normally don’t have any ulterior motives, if we’re asking for directions we really are, if we strike up a convo with the man next to us in the bus, it really is a convo, but I feel like men almost always have a motive.
