Basically, I (20F) have been chatting with this guy (21M) for around 1 and a half months. He was supposed to take me on a date 1 month ago but then our region went back on lockdown. We plan to go on a date after this lockdown. The thing is because it's lockdown and Christmas break, we've had more time on my hands, and we facetime for almost 4 hours each day although we're still in the dating stages. We don't really text much throughout the day though and I take ages to reply because I despise texting unless it's to set up a phone call. I didn't realize how much we were talking until yesterday and want to reduce it because I feel I'm getting too available and predictable when we're not even in a relationship.

The issue is, I don't know how often I should be talking to him to stay connected during this lockdown but not becoming overly available. Today he asked to facetime, and i flat out said i cant and that im caught up, but idk if i was too harsh. I also don't want to look like im playing games although I have extra projects that are starting to pick up and i will actually become pretty busy soon. How do I navigate this?
