So basically, I have a problem of getting way too attached too fast (especially if a guy is very attractive and/or has nice qualities I want in a partner). I want to learn how to still date but detach myself fully from these guys because 99% of the time, I'm disappointed in the end. For example, I want to be able to walk away from a guy that's not s*** easily or if a guy ghosts me or something, to not be affected by it at all. I worry because I'm still young and very naive that I will continue getting my heart hurt to a point where I can't handle it anymore so this is why I want to work towards being fully emotionally unavailable. I also need to have a clear head on my shoulders when vetting and not have my stupid fantasies get in the way before I get played or taken advantage of.

It just don't know how to get to this point though because I love having high expectations of these guys even when first talking to them and end up so disappointed, it takes me a bit to recover tbh. Any advice?
