LVM Shenanigans

So I’ve been talking with a guy for about a week. Telling me all the right things, he lives about an hour away so we make plans to meet today. This man is supposed to be here at 12, 30 minutes after he should have LEFT his place to get here on time he texts me pictures of his skinned knee and palm and says he tripped while running. Not only is he not coming now, but he “feels like shit” and is going to stay home and rest. After spending an entire week taking up my time, telling me how much he wants to see me. Before FDS I would have said, ok we can reschedule no big deal and hoped he would eventually come through. Now though, I simply stated this won’t work for me and blocked. Now tell me, did I overreact or make the right call? My thinking is his actions today showed me he is inconsistent, flaky, not making me a priority and that is LVM crap I will not entertain.
