It gives me this little nagging feeling of insecurity and jealousy. Like I wish I had that but I can’t.

Although I’m confident and love myself, I know that doesn’t guarantee someone else will.

And sure I may be supportive, kind, funny... but then again I also don’t have a job, I’m a drop out, I have both mental and physical health issues most people wouldn’t want to deal with. (Although I’m working on that, and I’ll get there one day.)

That’s reality. People care about income, beauty, health, status. Hell even I do.

I want someone to prove that I’m loveable. That I’m attractive. That I’m not a second choice, a reject, or unattractive.

A part of me still believes I can’t have that. Or that I have to work my ass off to be worthy of love. And that’s why I feel so strange.

Because that’s the real world- I can view myself as a goddess but it doesn’t change how others view me.

I’m really trying to reconcile society’s definition of worth and beauty with my own. And I know that both are real- I don’t want to be delusional or pessimistic. But I’m so confused.
