Lets say you disagree with me. You go off on me like a banshee and 10yrs of hatred suddenly take over and you bring up last weeks issues along with all of your grievances. Now were hashing out the entirety of our relationship. And all I say is “you know what? You’re probably right, youre probably right, I have a lot to still learn about you” look down at the ground and not argue. I just gave you a ghost to fight with. I cant be touched. Well I can be touched technically but Ive essentially opened myself up to vulnerability without being an asshole about it. It frees you up from your need to prove a point.

This is really quite challenging understandably, especially if you have to think of how to fog in another language. Most of the time you end up speaking so much.

Anyways this whole thing came from Sales. Together with stuff like presumptive closing, Hamburger method also some tinge of Nursing Therapeutic Conversations

You agree with only a small part of her statement that is true and disregard everything else. Makes you seem like you're agreeable when you're really not. I do it all the time and it works well.
