About a month ago I asked a question about how to handle the demands of a startup company. My main "problem" is that I took this job solely for the high paycheck, to be able to work on my project and pay the rent.

I realize this was a mistake. It didn't take long for my employers to see my low motivation, and I honestly can't stand the tech world anymore.

My question is how do you get by without a 9 to 5 job? I realize that although I have quite a few skills that could be profitable, hustling is not one of them. I have no idea how to take things I can do and make a quick buck out of them.

My dream project will take time and it is not something to build financially upon in the near future. Any helpful ideas, books etc are welcome. I am not looking for "how to get rich in a month" but how to monetize some of my skills to be able to get by and not dependant on a soul-sucking office job.
