HB8+ will show interest in you if they see you with HB5s around Nope. HB5s merely confirm you are a BB5. The HB8 won't be interested until you have HB7s orbiting you.

I just remembered something. A long time ago I dated a chick that found regular pictures of an ex in my belongings. She tore them all up. A while later I found out she had Borderline Personality Disorder. She was insanely jealous.

Well, girls get a pretty good feel for size when they suck or deep throat a cock. And most women can take an average cock without much discomfort but need to stretch to take a big one. So they know.

She likes him. She attends and seems invested in his games and seems to share a lot of similar interests. You probably have something there. If you read about Elen, she didn't have any interest in Tiger's golf life. She was often gone. After all, how did he have so much time to bed all his women ?

Her hamster farted. Remain stoic, STFU and leave her work it out. She seems to be doing just that.

First off, Acta non verba, buddy. You cannot directly tell a woman anything. You can teach her by your actions - ignoring her, getting on with your life, not acting needy to her, etc. Secondly, make sure you are thinking in your frame, not hers. This can be hard to do if you don't have abundance. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to talk it out with her and don't let her try to manipulate you into guilt or apologizing. "Are you sorry for having those nudes ?" Nope, I didn't know they were there. Or ju…

I totally agree with what you are saying, but can't he find lots of women like that ? He chooses the manager from his restaurant ? I wonder what Linday Vonn was like ?

Go watch Corey Wayne on Youtube. When she said "F:You dont talk to me as often as you did", I would have automatically replied "Drinks at XXXX at 8PM ?" Or, if you have any balls, call her ! Text is for logistics only. Hang out, have fun, hook up. Always move to hang out. The rest will fall into place. Don't give her validation with texts or even over the phone. Set up the date.

Good call on not doing the ultimatum. My text to my gal wasn't an ultimatum. It was an olive branch. Only my girl thought she had some power over me such that I was going to listen and obey. Doesn't work that way ! If she wants to be with me, it will be in my frame. Funny thing is, I'm now happy I left this woman and seeing her behaviors post split, I've lost attraction for her. Once you detach and get some time away, you might find the same thing. Honestly, your girl blew the relationship up. T…

She got scared. She needed a bit of comfort. When she got sarcastic she was basically telling you that you failed a comfort test for her. She was feeling really vulnerable and all of a sudden she regretted asking you. Not sure how you recover from this. Let us know what happens.

I find that hard to believe, given his abundance and SMV.

STFU and be her rock. Be stoic. Don't argue with her. Don't try to persuade her. She lost trust in you, got scared. If you don't do anything stupid, she'll come back. DO NOT ARGUE WITH HER. The more times you explain yourself the more that becomes the center point for her, you being weak. She knows you had the nudes. She heard you explain why. That is all that needs to be said about that. Actually a lot of RP men wouldn't even have explained them. Nudes ? I thought I threw them out. End of story…

There must be a reason. Maybe she is ALWAYS DTF ? What could she possibly give him that makes her better than other women ? If you watch the clip, Tiger says "I love you" after his Champion's Tournament win. When I see her hanging on him, all I can think of is she is an insecure gold digger.

I'm now totally convinced that all members of askMRP are fucking incapable of actually reading and answering simple questions and instead focus on re inventing the information they are given to support some wild ass theory they'd like to promote to validate their insecurities. Just needs to A) fuck her like he wants to while B) realizing her "I can't even think about sex rn" is just her ASD for wanting to get piped down this soon after her loss.Or maybe getting fucked is just an escape from her pain? Doesn't matter...she's still dtf I never thought of it from this angle. I'm all caught up in guilt because she is grieving, but clearly she isn't.

You did enough man. You might be right about that. I'll see going forward. Christ man! How do you get her to overtly communicate her needs?!?! If you fuckin paid attention to anything around here, you'd realize that she won't do that; especially when you feel she should! I've found that if I am focused on my mission and have other things in my life, women miss me and are much more expressive about their needs. If you ask them about their needs they have none. But if you are attractive and not ho…

Steve, you had problems in your prior relationship. Get your facts straight before you generalize. I've been in several really good relationships with great women since I separated, none of which have had issues. I don't do issues. Either things work or I end them. By great women, I mean stable, attractive, smart, well adjusted, accomplished and financially independent. Quality that some of you can't fathom.

(5) complaining that she won't have enough sex with you... Uh, no, not complaining about that either. Maybe you could learn to read instead of projecting all your shit onto anyone who asks you a question ? Speaking of retards and aspergers, 90% of you and your clan can't read and/or answer simple questions.

/r/askMRP21/08/18 06:53 PM

How is supressing your needs leading? How is sitting around waiting for her to make the move leading? How is reactively trying to fix her feelings leading? I agree that those are all bad behaviors. That is why I posted them. Now tell me how to change them when my FO is grieving.

But why the fuck should you carry this type of baggage, for a person whom you have know for FOUR months, where there are 3B+ other women on this planet. Because I see value in having a relationship with her. And I think there is something wrong with going from having a great relationship to breaking up because something happened in her life beyond her control. I need to give her a bit of time to see how she recovers from this. Maybe we survive this and maybe we don't. It is also a learning exper…

How do you stop this behaviour ? Change your thinking. Instead of trying to stop the behaviour cold, get in touch with what you are feeling and then thinking when you do the behaviour. Then change the thinking. The behaviour change will follow. So what are you feeling or thinking when you want to do these things ?

You: "Don't let me. Treat me well, fuck me right, and we're good." This is the answer to all dread based comforting. The wrong answer is to espouse unconditional love.

My very simple statement to OP was to avoid any unnecessary BS or revenge taking to stop it from getting to, the father having to prove his fitness. Agreed. But his behaviour has absolutely nothing to do with the division of assets and unless it is extreme, like domestic violence, little to do with custody and access to the kids. I'm not condoning bad behaviour but the chances that false allegations are going to hurt him are slim.
/r/askMRP27/06/18 06:41 PM

Police will document what they saw on the scene. Physical markings, drunkeness, etc. If that stuff isn't present, then it was just a normal argument. And it pretty much has to be multiple offences to have weight. And then the wife needs to prove this impacts the kids and the father's ability to parent. And then a psychologist will get involved and do an evaluation. All that needs to happen before a judge gives it weight. Even then the father will be given supervised access to the kids and observ…
/r/askMRP27/06/18 06:30 PM

That is BS. Any claim of domestic violence needs to be backed up with witnesses and police reports these days. If it wasn't reported, it didn't happen.
/r/askMRP27/06/18 06:16 PM

I had trouble connecting with my kids a bit too when I was BP. So much easier now.
/r/askMRP27/06/18 05:20 PM
1

Yes. PM me if you need help with this stuff. Having just gone through it, I'm pretty familiar. Interim access is usually 50/50 because that is the way it was in the house previously and a great time for dad's to demonstrate their child rearing skills. That is why it is without prejudice to the final ruling and interim as well.
/r/askMRP27/06/18 05:19 PM
2

Don't let your ex leverage your child to get a conversation with you. My ex calls the kids while they are in my care per our interim court order. I answer, hear her voice and hand the phone to my kids. No niceties, no conversation. Everything between us happens via email or text. She can set up the Facetime call with your daughter and leave the room or at least stand in the background quietly. Your time with your daughter is YOUR TIME.

My current GF has a high level of dread and is constantly looking for reassurance. I belong to a group filled with high value women. This worries her to no end. My reply to her is "as long as we have a good relationship, you have nothing to worry about" This has been my line with her since day one. The converse of that is if I'm not getting my needs met, I'm moving on. Result: we have a fantastic relationship.
/r/askMRP27/06/18 05:07 PM
1

Our most recent conversation started with us talking... Why are you talking ? Time to go no contact, everything via email or texts. Better proof of what went on for the lawyers, better closure for you.
/r/askMRP27/06/18 04:57 PM
1

If you are judging her by her actions, what is the point of your post ?
/r/askMRP27/06/18 04:55 PM
1

You get a lawyer to draft an interim without prejudice consent order for child access during the SEPARATION. Her lawyer will negotiate it with your lawyer, it might go before a judge for a decision. Then you have clear INTERIM WITHOUT PREJUDICE access to your children. Police enforcible access. Shit just got real.

Women have something called the "silver-bullet". The silver-bullet is false accusations in court that because of vagina/#me2 are just believed without proof. They can be used to her advantage with regards to custody. A scorned bitch even if she is a whore is vindictive, because it's never her fault. The silver bullet is used to separate you from your kids, because they know that will hurt you and used to scorch your reputation, because she's a saint of course. This is BS. That's exactly what raised my eyebrow and was like she's lying to me and herself. She's trying to save herself because I'll be frank if somebody asks me. She's literally not giving me an opportunity and so it's like why even kid ourselves!? Are you guys (FG16 and Broneilbro) fucking MRP newbies ? Interesting post, thanks for sharing. I think a lot of the men on MRP are codependent or at least they were in their BP phase. I think MRP is in many cases equipping codependent men with non codependent behaviours but not identifying the root cause, ie codependency. I think that in a lot of cases men are going to need treatment for codependency to fully become all the man they can be. MRP gives them the behaviours to get their lives in order and as long as they keep marching to that drum they'll…

romance novels just further prove my point Romance novels are porn for women. A substitute for having sex with a good man. Women only truly open up with a good man. I'm guessing many men never experience the full sexuality of a woman. They get the PG version because he isn't worthy.

Funny reading your reply on MRP where the focus is long term relationships. Because for most of the guys here there is only one dock (wife) to dock at. So where are you going to sail when you revoke the offer ? Furthermore, one of the biggest mistakes I see being made here is men over initiating, making themselves look needy and desperate. It really bothers men to admit that women control intimacy in relationships. Men get hyped up on PUA and think that they have all this power over women by foo…

Of course a TV is replaceable. So are cars, boats, etc. Just pisses me off that I need to shell out $3K to replace that one. Money is time. My ex slipped it into the house sale negotiations behind my back to spite me.

This post reads too much like a man doing what he needs to do in order to get laid not improve. . Remember this the next time she says she is just not in the mood or has more important things to do. What do you think her body is telling her ? Examine this for a minute. The Rubicon in this moment is to know when you are the prize and the rejection is her failure to be with Mr. Awesome. No. My statement was all about properly receiving feedback from a woman, ie her rejection. Women are controlled …

Our lawyers call them chattels. The TV was $3,500 new, 2 years old. The dining room set was $6,000. I'm not sure what became of it. It isn't only what stuff costs, it is the time and energy to buy the replacement stuff.

It is all burden until you need it and have to buy it. There is a reason it was in your house im the first place. If you never use it, leave it. But it is no fun having to refurnish and re equip a house.

I removed a bunch of stuff from the house. Got out all my tools, motorcycle stuff, sports equipment, etc. Not everything is entirely settled yet. I lost my favorite TV because she slipped it into the sale of the house. Pisses me off more than anything. Not a huge loss though. But in hindsight I should have removed more stuff - another couch, that TV, etc. She complained like hell about the stuff I removed, but she had no case because it was half mine to begin with.

Moving in with her, you've created 100% commitment without training her to share intimacy. In fact, you've trained her that she gets your commitment and attention while withholding intimacy. It is pretty obvious that your sexual needs mean nothing to her.

Everyone's insulin sensitivity essentially goes to zero when they are adapted. Essentially everyone resets. That is the beauty of keto. It is gene independent.
/r/askMRP15/06/18 03:26 AM
1

Carbs don't build muscle. Protein and rest do. If you are doing keto properly you should have more than enough energy to lift properly. Keto doesn't deprive your body of a single calorie it needs. If you weren't gaining, you either weren't adapted or you weren't eating enough protein.
/r/askMRP15/06/18 03:24 AM

Who the fuck can bench 130 but cant push a measly 5 more pounds so they have a full plate on there? This winter I saw a rash of middle aged guys struggling to lift the bar with 2 25s on it. Not 45s, 25s. If people have been sedentary for decades, they have no muscle mass, especially in their upper body. Everyone starts somewhere.
/r/askMRP15/06/18 03:22 AM
1

Watch it. You might learn something. You obviously don't understand insulin, ketones, ketosis and fat loss. Base Metabolic Rate is related to lean body mass, not fat body mass. Fat doesn't burn much energy. If he is really 30% BF @ 205 lbs, his lean body mass is 140 pounds. His BMR isn't going to be anything near 3,000 calories.
/r/askMRP15/06/18 03:16 AM
2

If his body fat percentage is high, he still has fat to burn. Right now he is skinny fat. If he is truly in ketosis, his body is not lacking energy, so his lifts generally won't be affected. He should still be able to build muscle. Having said that, it is always easier to build muscle during and after a bulk. I don't think anything about being in true ketosis is preventing him from gaining strength. Either he isn't in true ketosis or his strength training routine isn't working for him. If he rea…
/r/askMRP15/06/18 03:11 AM

You need to understand that if he is in true ketosis that his body is not running a calorie deficit. When you are in ketosis, your insulin levels are very low, your ketone levels are high and you are burning fat to feed your body. No different than eating fat. This will not affect his lifting or his gains. I started a keto cut in late April after doing a bulk. It's now mid June. I lost about 20 pounds in 6 weeks during my cut on a keto diet with intermittent fasting. My lifting sessions were gen…

This is bullshit. Once you are keto adapted your body will pull whatever "fuel" it needs from fat. Marathoners are now running marathons almost fasted. We have been dating again for 11 weeks now and yes we have had sex twice (on week 5) but after that she was distant again because it was to soon for her and she wants to take things slow(so it doesn't end again). Since 2 weeks ago it's okay to kiss, but no sex yet. Are you fucking kidding me ? What about your needs ? Where is your abundance ? Why would having a strong sexual connection cause it to "end again" ? If she was attracted to you, she'd be jumping you to feel your strength and masculini…

All I can say is that mouth breathing made a world of difference for me. 2 takeoffs 1) some people think that if you nose breathe for a while the inflamation in your throat may die down and your throat muscles will strengthen 2) after a while you may become a natural nose breather.

If your mother was a narcissist, you need treatment for codependency. If you don't get treatment for codependency, you are going to constantly be seeking validation from women and you will repeat the relationship you had with your mother. Codependency has layers and it is often not easy to recognize them and work your way through them by yourself. You'll probably need help. PM me if you need more.

As soon as you mention "I feel..." to a woman, you are playing on her turf. The next thing out of her mouth is "Well I feel something different..." and the battle is on. Women have very well developed hamsters and are master negotiators and manipulators. You'll lose every time starting out with an "I feel..." If you are the leader, the direction you need her to go is non negotiable. "We need to do this..." is what should come out of your mouth. It isn't based on your or her feelings. It is simpl…

I don't think it's "in her frame" to call her on this. Just say, hey, I need to stay in touch with my daughter. We had a plan to FaceTime today and you missed it with no explanation. That is not acceptable. I'm a busy man. When we plan a FaceTime, I expect it to happen as planned. Don't mention your feelings. Don't tell her you are mad. It's logistics, pure and simple. If she says she forgot, use an app like Google Calendar so that her mobile device reminds her next time.

Watching sports is watching someone else's life. Their accomplishments, their actions, their outcomes. It is fine if you are doing for a reason to further YOUR life, ie. relaxation, social activity, motivation, etc. but a lot of people get addicted to TV, sports, alcohol, gaming, etc. to SOOTHE themselves. To make them feel OK when their lives are, in fact, not OK. I was actually a little bit motivated by the OP's post because it made me mentally check why I watch sports. Truthfully, I am a bit t…

Women are not "all the same" in that they are equal. They are not equal. In fact women's quality varies hugely from one to the next. Deadlifts ! And situps. I have a degenerative vertebra in my neck. Used to cause me chronic pain. Now I forget I have it. Having muscles that hold things in proper alignment does wonders.
/r/askMRP16/03/18 12:26 AM

However, what a lot of people do not realize is the dead lift, squat and rowing use every single muscle in the body, if done properly, they trigger every surround muscle - screaming grow ! To support the major groups. I used to have a weak lower back. I'd tweak it a couple times a year. Nothing major, just I would feel it afterwards. Now that I deadlift, I haven't tweaked it once.

This forum has some flaws, one being that people read between the lines and extrapolate way too much. When they do, the OP has 2 choices. Explain or remain silent. If the OP chooses to defend then people say they DEER, give too many fucks, etc. BUT if the OP doesn't enter a discussion, people don't learn anything. You are reading way too much into this and extrapolating. I'll leave it at that.

When you are married, a hard next = divorce. Women these days have the mindset that they have the power. When you challenge them they pull out the nuke option: sex. This woman doesn't want an apology. That isn't the issue. She wants an apology and for him to fall back in line, like he used to be. Would a slower escalation of power removal from her avoid her using the sex card ?

Horses are unpredictable animals. Watch any amateur show jumping competition. Yes, they are predictable 99.9% of the time. But 0.1% of the time they do unpredictable things. Ask Christopher Reeves. Judges aren't like that any more. They realize when someone is playing games (his wife) and when someone is well adjusted and moving on. (OP) I separated from my ex in May. My kids met my gf at Christmas. It was casual and good. No public displays of affection. My daughter loves her. My ex is furious. Fuck her ! My ex sent me an email when she found out. I didn't even reply.

I went through this with my first wife. Met with a very knowledgeable psychologist about it. The best thing to do is leave the child say whatever and just spend time with him/her/them. Children aren't dumb. Mom can say blah, blah, blah, but the child experiences you for whatever you are. There is almost nothing else you can do about PA. A court has no way to stop the mother being bitchy, unless it gets to an obscene level. Acta non verba with your kids and you'll be fine. My son used to come to …

Any exercise is better than nothing, so I won't say don't do pushups. But for a person with some muscle tone, their dead weight while doing pushups doesn't load their muscles enough to encourage muscle growth. To properly stimulate muscles for growth, you should be lifting enough to make the muscle fail in 6 to 12 reps. I can do a lot of pushups before I reach muscle fatique. Like 50 or something. I don't know because I don't do them. Weighted planks are good for strengthening core, but big dead…

I'm a 37 year old programmer and I have just a bit of wear to a few parts of my neck from approaching two decades of strain I've been doing computer work at a desk for decades too. It takes a special woman to be the wife of an entrepreneur. If she was raised in a wage earner household with zero business risk, you have a tough slog ahead of you, with her anyway. Just put your head down, don't DEER and get it done. Learn to STFU with her. Find some emotional support outside your home. There is no reason for either of those things to be a factor in my decision to have a home gym. A good rack won't fall over and will not put your safety in jeopardy. Lifting without collars is a recipe for disaster. Not sure why you shared these things.

I also find that the environment helps me focus on the task at hand, without distractions like the wife/kid/dog nearby. I agree with this. About 25% of the time I work out in my home gym I get part way through the workout and get interrupted by something I think I should do or something that happens in the house. You need to read this book right now. https://www.amazon.com/Tactical-Guide-Women-Manage-Marriage/dp/0990686442/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1511547764&sr=1-1&keywords=women+tactical Do not pass Go. Do not give in to her. Go monk if she withdraws sex or berates you. Read the book before you do anything. I challenge you to read it and then post back with your analysis of your situation vis a vis the exercises in the book. Certain personality types do not age well.

I set up multiple stations in my home gym and rotate between them. Bench press 1x body weight. Dead lift 1.5x body weight. Curls 0.5x body weight on a barbell Pull downs 3/4x body weight Buy a cage, a bench or two and free weights, don't buy a machine. Set up space for planks, skipping, steps and stretching. If you have kids this is the best investment you can make. If you are free of domestic duties, get out and go to a gym.

Well... you only turn into a lower value man if you chose to be a Victim and stay trapped. To get out of victimhood all you need to do are a few things 1) Filter out the criticisms from the Persecutors. AKA STFU, AA, AM. 2) Reject lifelines from the Rescuers. 3) Reject the role of Victim by realizing you are acting like a Victim, generate some options and empower yourself to act on them. As soon as you are taking responsibility for the situation you are no longer being a passive Victim. When you…

We all have compensating behaviours. I had mine too. Just be thankful yours/mine aren't gambling, drug addiction, alcohol or even suicide. This sub talks a lot about the growth aspect of going RP. I've been "there". I used to think like that too. That thinking gives her a free reign and keeps you trapped. You deserve to be happy, right ? Life is short, right ? Guess what ? You can't control her actions. And she has the power to make you miserable for the rest of your life. How are you going to deal with that ? So when you get further along your MAP process, she is going to have a choice to make - either fall into line and stop her bad behaviour or lose you. You maybe don't realize this ri…

Being single makes a person do that. But I still do not see in any of your posts what value this woman brings to your life? Great companionship and sex. She is fun. Your such a nice guy... Nope. I am not a nice guy. I do shit because it needs doing and makes my life better, not because I am trying to please anyone else or to gain approval. I do my agenda, nobody else's. I am not nice. I am not kind. I am not sacrificing myself for anyone else. If what I do works for my new gal, that is great. If it doesn't, then I need to find another woman. It is great that she appreciates who I am and what I do, but that isn't why I do it.

And so you should have hope, bro. RP works. I've seen it with my own eyes. Women need strong men who have their crap together. All we have to do is aspire to be the men they need. One of these days I am going to write a post called "Things my dates have "told" me." Because you can't go by what women say. You watch what they do. Watch the dialog. If the bros say "shes being a bitch", they aren't helping you. The question you need to pose is "what are my options here" instead of "look at what she is doing, poor me". If I needed a bros help, I'd come up with 3 or 4 options as a starting point and get their feedback on them instead of asking them to help me generate options. I should say a few more things about this relationship. First off, it feels like we are 20 year olds. Like really it does. We are both fit and active and she is really playful. Some women this age are thinking about retirement. We are having so much fun literally acting like kids. I knew I was supposed to enjoy my RP life, but I had no idea it would be like this. In hindsight, I agree, why wouldn't I be working on me every single day ? But when I started this journey, I had the mindset that RP was something you attained and then just were. She baits me into a conversation about her feelings and why she’s not attracted to me anymore. I listen and do some comforting but halfway through what I’m saying I realize that this will never end, and it’s only getting worse. You never discuss feelings with a woman. She feels what she feels. You can't change her feelings with logic. You can't negotiate desire. It is either there or it isn't.

You have a chance to use her as a sparing partner. Learn and improve. Dump her when you’re ready. ^ Gold, right there. Dumping her right now doesn't get you anything because your SMV is zero anyway. Respectfully, work on yourself for 6 months or a year and come back and ask the question. Take the anger you feel towards her and use it as motivation. You'll gain huge value in your son's eyes doing this too.

Like Peterson will say, you have to let the old parts die in order for there to be space for the new. It's a painful process that is supposed to be painful so the existence of the dissonance is not necessarily a problem, you have to just learn to ignore it and keep doing the new thing. Thanks for reminding me about that. Peterson is a friggin genius. I presume you are divorced? You used the word separated. Still going through the legal process.

How do you know that these are high quality women? That they are attractive, apparently successful, and seem emotionally stable? Hell, anyone can pull that off for a couple weeks. You are right. But dating is an experimental relationship. You keep doing it until you see evidence to the contrary. You can't forecast the future. Everyone is a high quality person until you see otherwise.

I'd rather be alone than be around people who suck. I lost a lot of "friends" with all this. I don't find myself alone very often. Maybe that will change, but I seem to pick up new friends as fast as I lose old ones. Now that I can see, I can't believe how many BP men there are out there, living shitty lives in shitty relationships. I especially cringe when I see young BP men. OMFG. You should be thinking "I'm good but I could be better." That is the mind blowing part. I'm not done improving. This is just the beginning. That is another dissonance. It is one thing to practice RP and see slow and limited results when you are in a relationship with a hesitant first officer. But then you get away from that relationship and start living for yourself and BAM ! it hits you like a ton of bricks. Every morning you get up and improve your life and make yourself happy in some way. Bec…

The best thing you can do is to forget the old you. At two times in my life, I left everyone I knew behind and became someone else. It's very freeing, people who know you have expectations of you, and it drags you back down. I told my best buddy, who is BP and in a sexless marriage, a small sliver of some of my experiences and he quasi lost it on me. He works his ass off to buy cars, etc. for his cold fish wife. I've got my mission and purpose down. I'm not focused on women nor relying on them for validation. I'm doing me these days. I've been watching a lot of Jordan Peterson recently. I watch one video and then it overwhelms me for 3 days. Going RP is like drinking from a fire hose and it never seems to slow down. Just when you think "I've got this", you learn or experience something new and another light goes on and you spend another week reprocessing and recalibrating. It is crazy.

Her blow out wasn't actually about the child. You know that right ? Her response to the situation was all out of proportion. Option #4 is to get her to blow again and find out what the real or imaginary problem is. Not so you can solve it, but so that you understand. Once you know what it is, you can decide on an action. I'd take the kids to grandmas and then have a face to face with the intent to get her to spill the beans. By "heart to heart" I mean that you trigger her and hold frame.

You learn to deflect the criticisms before they get into your mind, analyze them and store them to recall later to figure out WTF is going on. And if you must open your mouth, you use …

I hardly knew what a narcissist was when this started. I just thought it was someone who was vain. The first video is 18 minutes long. It explains everything. The first few minutes explain why 99% of the people on this board won't be narcissists - they care. Most of the coaching on this board is to get guys to care less about others and more about themselves ! The last 5 minutes of the video demonstrate a common tactic of narcissists, that being labelling their partner a narcissist. In the examp…

The more AA, IDGAF, hobbies, fitness I do, the more irate my wife gets. The "you are a narcissist" behavior was her upping the ante. When you demonstrate defiance, ie independence from the narcissist, they will do anything to get you back in their control. They are only happy if you remain obedient and dependent on them. FYI, a lot of the MAP and RP stuff looks like the treatment program for codependents. I'm surely not the only one in this population dealing with a covert narcissist. The MAP, d…

I've gotten seriously good at AA and STFU. My wife is scrambling. Watch the videos and you'll understand why it is not good to keep interacting with a narcissist, even if you are (or think you are) in control. If you are involved with a true narcissist and they figure out they are not in control, they just up the ante. And it will continue that way until you are dead. The treatment success rate with narcissists is extremely low. Covert narcissists even less because they've learned to hide it. Ju…

If there is one thing I've learned in all this it is to STFU, work on me and let shit play itself out. It is fascinating, I'm getting a huge life lesson and the more I work on me the better the position I'm in when I pull the pin.

If she is a narcissist, the game only continues while you choose to play. Fix your codependency, fix your weak frame, man the fuck up. I'm up for this, but is it being a man or a codependent ? Or is manning up to this leaving ? I'm out for my own happiness, right ? I'd rather a new partner in life that fight an uphill battle any more. Did you watch the covert narcissist videos ?

There are a couple other facts in all this. 1) The book my wife bought is "How To Disarm Your Narcissist". If I am truly a narcissist, why would my wife buy a book on how to stay with one ? Narcissists are assholes that look out for only their own needs. I should be abusive and obnoxious. Why would this intelligent, super achieving woman want to stay with me ? She had an easy opportunity to leave at Easter. 2) Narcissists can't stand being abandoned. When we were first dating my wife told me tha…

My wife spent a good portion of Easter weekend on the phone with friends, "trying to figure things out". Narcissists don't own their problems, they pass them on to someone else. Trying to self help on narcissism is trying to own it, do something about it. Narcissists are always right. They don't need to learn about something they already know. At the very least my wife has gaslit me about narcissism.

There are no good older female role models to teach women how to respect their husbands anymore and be good first mates to their male captains. It's a sad state of affairs. Truth. I have to mention how powerful the RP techniques have been. STFU is golden. It really helped me to see what was really going on. When you are defending yourself you (I) get caught up in winning the argument and making a point. But when you STFU, my brain stops defending and spends a lot more time analyzing what is really being said. And that is when you see what is being said for what it really is. I have a couple thoughts on this because I have the same thought from time to time about sitting her down and discussing things. The problem with talking to a woman is that it engages her hamster and then it becomes a debate that she rationalizes. Chances are you'll start DEERing and then everything is up for debate. It isn't up to the moderators to judge the effort that someone is putting into asking the question. They asked a question. Who cares if they bench 200 pounds or not. They are curious. One more thing... I think a moderators role is compromised when they cease being a moderator, ie a person who moderates the posts of others, and starts becoming the provider of knowledge in the forum. RP forums are way over the line in this regard. If you want to improve MRP forums, let moderators be moderators, ie moderate what people say. Stop the moderators from being knowledge experts.

The other issue with forums is the tendency for a few members to essentially take over and crown themselves as “experts.” “Newbies” are shouted down or lectured to “use the search function before asking a question” (most forum search functions suck by the way). When a few take over and dominate a forum the message gets stale. What starts out as a source for good advice turns into the newbie being a dumbass for not knowing all. We had soup for lunch yesterday. Had a choice between tomato and mushroom. I looked at the labels. Tomato has a ton of sugar in it. Mushroom has 1/3 the carbs and almost no sugar. I start opening the mushroom. She comes along and says the kids and her don't like mushroom soup. I point out the nutrition information. She says "You are neither credible nor knowledgeable on nutrition." I just STFU. I'm strong, fit and very healthy. She can't do a single pushup. Not sure what you can say to someone l…

I love your theory. I think it is spot on, except I think all men need the sex part to work. I am going slow and I'll continue to go slow. I'm going to give it another few months. When I'm angry I lift or work out or explore abundance. Wala - no more anger.

I don't need her validation. I took a lot of pride in the preparation I did for that party. It went off great. That was my reward. And I'm happy with it. The rest of that post is context so you guys understand why I'm probably going to nuke this relationship.

Using the word "helped" is the bigger problem. Helped makes it sound like it was her responsibility and you were magnanimous to assist her. Well, it was her work party. There is no way in hell if it was my work party that she would spend a day getting everything ready, be a polite host and help me clean up. She just threw a bunch of shit tests my way because I'm not helping more with the kids today. Ironically I'm not out with my buddies today and I a couple hours of cleaning up party stuff from…

You had a 474-page (with references) texting bitchfest with her and she still strikes a deal. That is because we had some high quality counselling a while back and the dude's focus was finding resolutions. She bought that shit. Only problem was the dude wanted everything 50/50 and then I was subject to all her FEELZ in the decision making process. Handcuffs me and deprives her of seeing her man lead. None of this codependent "and then you wonder why i might be grumpy" bullshit. Your emotions are not her problem. State your feelings and opinions, but never expect her to be responsible for them or manage them. I agree with that, sort of, but yet I am trying to get out of going because I'll hate it. I'm making her aware she is creating a covert contract. If I don't say anything it is the equivalent of WISNIFG and going along with things.

As for your kids being bored, depending on their age, invite them into the conversation, show them how you can be comfortable even when surrounded with conversation you detest. They need to see that. They are too young, but your comment still has merit.

I sort of laughed at your idealized version of Christmas. A few years back we had a come and go party after work on the last day of work. It was a huge hit. People still talk about it. All you have to do is plan it out and invite good people. You wanna demonstrate social value, learn how to throw a good party packed with great people. Tell your wife your vision for Christmas and throw it out for next year. If you can pull it off like you envision, it sounds great. Plenty of families "switch off,…

You can make your meanings clearer with your voice than you can with your fingers and pixels. Did you see how many times I fogged her with "I don't want to go" in text? Did you see how many times she had to read it to "get it"? I'm not sure how this would have went as a conversation. The examples in WISNIFG have the respondent staying relatively calm. Getting through this in real life with my wife isn't easy.

I think you have a pretty solid wife. She can be a lot more illogical and hostile when we discuss stuff like this face to face. It is one of the reasons I use text messages or emails sometimes. Second, refuse to be with family on the holidays if you want, but don't fool yourself that it's attractive behavior in any way. So what happened to pursuing my own happiness and being alpha ? I've been to that house on xmas eve 5 years in a row. It is going to suck. I came up with a plan (leadership) that is clearly preferable - host at our house and have her family join in. I wasn't sulking in the corner with my phone. I took a single personal call about my plans with my friends later in the day. 3 minutes tops. It had to be handled, it was. What would have happened if you said, "nope" She would have huffed and bitched. I have an entitled woman on my hands. She is always thinking her agenda should rule and she should get what she wants. Times are changing ! The other question is what would happen if I had initiated sex ? That could go either way, 50/50. It has resulted in good sex or a fantastic morning BJTC. But it could also result in an "I'm too tired" response.

Pin her against the wall. Nakedness. Slap her ass. Your message is your house is owned by an Alpha man and sex is always on the table. Swinging like that is hard. It takes a thick skin to not be constantly upset or unhappy. It takes a lot of detachment to be able to move on from people so easily. I think this is why people probably settle down eventually, even with high SMV. Dating constantly is tiring. That, or they want a family. So the easiest route to a high quality, satisfying relationship is to blow up the current one and start a fresh LTR using the alpha qualities I've built up. And never let it get off track.

I share some of the OP's sentiment. What are men getting out of these LTRs ? Specifically, where has the comfort gone for the men ? Where is the care free enjoyment in the relationship ? Instead men have to jump through a whole bunch of hoops - providing, game, fitness, managing shit tests, etc. in order to earn a decent relationship. In comparison, what are the women doing ?
