Hey guys, I got a job working for some losers so I can pay the bills while I build my mega company. I have big dreams and great ideas and I'm awesome. This lame job will have to do until I launch my dream project.

The thing is, this whole work thing is a drag. Any ideas how I can make a quick buck without working?

The best way to get by without a 9-5 job is to first have no debt.

This gives you the ability to select employment that is gainful to you from not just a money perspective, but time.

Time is the ultimate currency. I have had two 40 hour a week full time jobs for years. I am in IT. One is my primary, the other is secondary. Neither job requires 40 hours a week to do “every week”

Third are the side hustles I do. Real Estate and now Investing. Financial Investing has been a life changing thing for me and I am only 6 months into it.

I switched primary jobs so I could have a 8-5 and not travel so In can focus on other things. Namely my side hustles.

I have learned over the last 3 years (and serious acceleration in the past 6 months) that the best way to make money is to have it work for you. By planting it and making it grow. Not spending it on crap.

Now I still spend a ton of money on shit I do not need, but I have a more dedicated % of my incoming going into investments that are paying back 15% or higher on what I am putting in.

And it all revolves around IT.

Most people never take a chance because if they go without a paycheck for 2 weeks they are ruined.

Step one in the process is not owning anyone any money, so you can take chances.

Edit: And non of this would have been possible without the support of my Starbucks support group. Talk about in another post. But I have literally leaned more about real world money economics by hanging out with these guys who are also successful business men, than anything in school. Ever.

Best 2 hours of my day. Every day.

hustling is not one of them

Boom! Here's your problem. Change your mind my friend. You can and will hustle for the things you care about...you just care about comfort more than the other stuff.

You want some practical advise? Make a plan. Find out what it takes to get to where you want to go. Break it up into small achievable goals (even if it's years in the making) and don't go a day without contributing to those goals...

As you get older you'll start to realize "it" is not about money, it's about satisfaction. Find something you love and the money won't matter as much, but if you are very good at something you'll get the $$ as well.

Edit: Because I'm feeling chatty today....you say hustling isn't one of your skills, but how did you develop the skills you do have? Practice, no? Well, if you have to get good at hustling, then you need to get out there and hustle.
