Three weeks in. I am still reading the books, lifting, and improving myself. I can tell there has been a slight change in her attitude, and at least I am optimistic for the future (as opposed to depressed a few months ago. She actually initiated sex two days ago while I was half asleep. I can barely remember the last time she did that. A month ago, I was depressed, we had an appointment with a couples counselor (cancelled), and I was a beta bitch with covert contracts and her on a pussy pedestal. I actually was reading /r/relationships hoping to see others with similar marriage struggles when someone made fun of redpill-type comments. I had to check it out, and here I am.

This morning I was reading the marriedredpill subreddit in bed when she gets out of the shower and joins me in bed, naked. Yes. (although I had just jacked off 10 minutes before). She says she wants to rest for a minute before she has to get up. I of course use this opportunity to roll over and initiate. She reiterates that she just wants to rest. I tell her that she can't expect me to not touch a hot naked women that just got into bed with me. I tell her I am taking a quick shower (which I often do as a precursor to sex). When I get out she is still naked in bed, so I join her and start to initiate again. She again says she doesn't want to have sex, and says we can cuddle instead. I declined and told her that I need to get ready for work. I keep frame and get out of bed. She responds begrudgingly that we can have sex if I really want to. I know the books say to not turn down sex at this early stage, but I instead told her that I don't want it if she isn't into it. and that I have to get ready. Did I screw up?? How important is it that I not turn down sex at this stage.

I continue to get ready for work in the bathroom, and she comes in 10 minutes later, all dressed for work, and hugs on me and says she hopes I am not disappointed. I responded with a smirk that I hoped that she isn't disappointed, and squeezed her butt.

Am I doing this right? I guess these are shit/comfort tests.
