I'm 6 weeks in and I've been reading a lot about everything including shit tests. I don't get them. I had an encounter with her this morning that made me think, "Finally, a shit test." But if it was a shit test, it was a pretty half-hearted one.

(We are currently watching a dog, and my wife woke up before me and took her out. I woke up when she came back to the room and she was glaring at me. She had some problem with my iPad and headphones which were on my side of the bed not affecting her at all. It was not playful, but not really serious either. I moved them to her side of the bed just to be a jerk. She put them on the floor and got back into bed and said she might accidentally step on them. Then she said she was angry at me that I didn't get up at the crack of dawn to take the dog out, leaving her to do it. Once again - not playful but not serious either. I told her what should have happened was she should have woken up, taken the dog for a walk, come back to bed, and given me a blowjob. She was looking at her phone and ignored me. I then said, "So where's my blowjob?" Queue the glare. Then I made her laugh with something I did with the dog, then I took the dog and left since I was up and I always let her sleep in on days when I'm not working since I like to get up early and she loves to sleep in. She gave me a very sincere thank you. Normal day after that including a quickie later that morning. That's it.

Are there women who don't give shit tests? I thought it was in their DNA. If a woman doesn't give you shit tests, what does it tell you? Or is it more likely that her shit tests might just be subtle and take a different form, or I might be oblivious to them, or some combination of the above?

Part of me wonders if she actively resists the urge to give shit tests. She is not like normal contemporary women (in good ways). She is very conservative and traditional and comes from a big, close-knit, conservative, traditional family. Her ambition was to be a SAHM which I respected and am happy I can provide. She hates liberal feminism. She was aware of TRP before I was in the context of men fighting back against a brand of feminism that is damaging society and relationships. Discovering TRP/MRP made me realize that she is not attracted to me because I am not attractive, but she is very dutiful. She cooks me great food, we have sex frequently (albeit extremely unenthusiastically on her part), she works hard around the house, and we have fun together. She is also very happy with me being the unquestioned leader of the family making all decisions, managing all aspects of the finances, and assuming ultimate responsibility for everything, a role I am very much suited for and enjoy. She does not get emotional. She doesn't give me shit. She lets me do my thing. Her one vice is napping and sleeping in, which I am happy to accommodate because she treats me well. My only complaint is her complete lack of sex drive and sexual interest in me which I know is because I am not attractive enough.

There are things she does that might fall into the shit test arena but it's hard to tell. Some examples:

Over the past 6 weeks, she twice referenced another man's attractiveness, one on TV and one we passed in the car. I ignored both. This almost never happened before.

Since I've been working out and exercising so much, she has made a couple references to me possibly having an affair or a love interest at work, though she didn't seem that serious or concerned. She also said she thought a woman I know from work likes me.

She sometimes rips on me like a guy friend would. For instance, I was doing something the other day and she asked me why and I said sarcastically that I was making a grand gesture. She said, "That's pretty girly." I told her I was kidding, duh.

That's pretty much it, aside from the usual resistance when I initiate sex and the very half-hearted "Get away from me!" and "Stop it!" when I kino her, and her playful comments about how much she hates me.

I'm very interested to get other perspectives on what might or might not be shit tests so I can spot them and navigate them appropriately.
