A&A is a form of flirting. It's fun. It conveys wit and intelligence, which are attractive traits. It can make her forget whatever the fuck she's currently hamstering about and lift her mood. It can get people in your frame. It makes people laugh, including yourself. It can totally transform the conversation -- turning a boring, undesirable topic into something far more interesting... maybe even sex.

Those are all good reasons to use it.

Example:

HER: You're and asshole, you know that?
ME: You knew that when you married me. Don't you feel foolish?
HER: I'm serious. All you want is sex.
ME: Not really. But since you're offering.
HER: You never go with me to the park.
ME: You're right. Why would I want to?
HER: Because I am your wife.
ME: That can change.

HER: You never do the dishes
ME: True. I grew up in the backwoods of the country. We didn't have dishes
HER: Why are you such an ass
ME: Because you don't fuck nice guys.

Why it works

Shit tests are all about you. Your frame. Your masculinity. They are markedly different from servant tasks, comfort tests, or serious requests by her tone, mannerism, and attitude. They typically start like:

HER: You haven't done....

HER: You always....

HER: You are....

When she shit tests you she isn't really looking for an answer. She wants you to validate her feelz and, which is what you are to break away from. She is also seeing if you will stand up to her. Sure acknowledge the feelz, which is why you are responding, but don't let her drag you down in to them. Remember it's like wrestling with a pig. The pig is happy. You're dirty.

Essentially you are communicating to her.

"Don't ask me stupid questions. I will not dignify them with a real response."

This is the key to passing a shit test.

if you feel a chance for a real connection via her answer, you can be honest and go for comfort building. This is an advanced technique if you've already had several encounters where your frame was strong.

EDIT: I should note that not all tactics work all the time. You have to be able to read the situation and your girl. Some times AA is not your best response. This is part of the process. You are going to make mistakes. Take note and do better next time.

MRP is a toolbox. You have the tools you just need to learn which one works when.

Besides what everyone else said. the fact is no one cares about your logic especially women. They just care how you make them feel and how you feel about yourself. When you A&A it shows you don't take yourself that serious and are confident in yourself. It also avoids any further confrontation.

I learned this before I discovered the red pill from a friend of mine. If a women would shit test me. I would hit her with logic, assertiveness, or DEERing. How dare she say I'm....im not that. Im this. (Vagina begins to dry)

But my buddy, anything you would say about him. He would go with it. He would agree and amplify and he didn't even know what it was. And neither did I at the time. But I noticed what would happen after it. Nothing. No one had anything left to say. And the women laughed and said he was funny.

And I thought to myself. Wtf! That isn't even true about him. Why the hell would he agree and allow someone to think that? Well it didn't fucking matter what they thought bc they didn't know either. And when he'd AA. It showed he was confident and didn't give a fuck what ppl said or thought. That's when I started to do this also. Then I found out it was actually a strategy.

So in short the way youre talking about handling it, will never accomplish what you want it to

Yes, if you want to define AA as being sarcastic, I think you can look at it that way. But at its core AA is about making it clear you don't take her seriously because what she says doesn't matter. If she calls you an asshole, you defending and deflecting assertively will make you look offended and easily rattled. Smirking and saying "that's why you married me" reverses the tension onto her and shows her attacks don't work on you.
