This post is not directly related to marriage but to overall life questions. Frankly I need someone to talk to with some life experience:

I messed up by signing the contract to my flat. The apartment should have included kitchen (furniture) - the property description statet this clearly. In the contract it was just mentioned as a room and some stuff about fixing broken appliances. So big day came: No kitchen - you could have guessed.

Turns out. The kitchen never belonged to the flat but to the previous tenant. He would have sold me the kitchen if he had known. But that's beside the point.

I have an legal costs insurance but it will cost me about $250 - and I am not sure if I would win cause I signed the contract without the kitchen. Well it was there the first time I was there and the clerk told me it was part of the rent. But I guess this won't hold up in court.

So should I rather spend the money on a kitchen instead of a legal battle or should I go for it with a small chance of winning?

(Funfact: The letting agency are all women ... )
