There was a 2 month period where I was depressed and unmotivated to go the extra mile. I had limited motivation to workout and to work on growing my business. I also didn't care much about maintaining my home. My wife could sense the change and was a bit more distant, I also removed my attention quite a bit because I found her to be irritating on all fronts.

Now for the past 3-4 months, I have been making sure that the house stays clean and tidy, I'm back at Jiu Jitsu/lifting and I'm getting out of my comfort zone to continue growing my business.

My wife was upset with me earlier this week and mentioned she isn't happy, blah blah blah. She has been going through a lot with her family, work, etc and I took this more so as a way to vent to me. Everything she was upset about was fueled by all of these other things and I was in the crosshairs. I did my best to be her oak.

I recently found out that there was an issue with our dishwasher and after pulling it apart, the wiring was all screwed up and there could have been a potential fire. We found and ordered a new one and I installed it the day it was delivered. My wife said thank you for taking care of it. Her sister came over and overly complimented me and said that is "some man shit" and talked up about how it is a great skill to be able to do this shit, I saved the day, etc. My wife didn't really say much. I've been doing this throughout the house for months now. I do not expect anything in return and I'm aware that hoping for something is a covert contract.

We fooled around last night, but she is at the tail end of her period and she was tired. I told her to give me a BJ and she wasn't completely into it. She did it for about 5 minutes and then asked to have sex. I told her to put it back in her mouth and continue and she hesitated and started thinking of something to excuse herself from continuing. I looked her dead in the eyes and said if she isn't into this, we don't have to continue. She looked up at me and I could tell her hamster was spinning and she was a bit upset about the thought of not having sex. After 30 seconds, she continued, but it was a subpar BJ. We had sex, we finished and we were good after that. She laid on my chest and we continued watching a movie we started earlier in the night.

That being said, when she is closer to ovulation, she is way more into it and lets me do basically whatever I want (minus anal).

My wife is on SSRI's and I know it destroys peoples sex drive.

I've been killing myself keeping the house nice and neat (I've assigned her chores to do as well), staying on top of maintenance of everything around the house, I'm in above average shape, I make high 5's, low 6 figures, good social circle, etc.

What is missing? What is the next step from here? I have an understanding of DEVI, etc. I would say my dread level is around a 5. Is it too soon to ramp up to dread 6?
