Honestly, when you start living, and turn off faceshit and the tv, you come to realize life requires a lot of work and it is heavy work to clean your act up and set new habits

Calendar planning, food prep, house cleaning, exercise and OYS requires an amazing amount time

The mental fortitude to be omnipresent and take charge of you, for you, is a bridge to cross, but can become much less daunting with trips to the iron temple

Fuck, learning to be present and operate in the here and now, requires thoughtfulness, not taught in our society. Again, the temple of iron will make it clear, a stadium full of stairs will make it crystal

Once you unmask all your shit behaviors and upright yourself, your mission becomes clear. And, you will no longer allow your ego or others to make choices that keep you stumbling along in life.

Every woman and man wants to follow a masculine, disciplined, unwavering man, that has directions to improve himself and society, through leadership and example. Again, made clear in the iron temple with resolute abstract goals tending to the health of the physical person, pushing the mind to follow suit.

I cant speak for the book, but my mission started to become clear once I started getting rid of all the bullshit reasons for why my life wasn't the way I wanted it to be.

I took back control of my life and its direction in general and then thought about what I wanted for a long time. I have always wanted to be a good example of a strong Christian family man/leader, and before I die I want to hunt and kill a large game animal with a bow that I made myself.

It sounds so simple but its the foundation for all my other goals and decisions. Every day I work to be the man that can achieve those goals.

I was born in 1961, right around the birth of feminism.

I, and the majority of men living today, have never known anything but feminism. We were raised and groomed to serve the feminist imperative as manifested in the gynocracy. This indoctrination has taken place on every level. Churches, schools, media, social media. We were separated from our fathers from the beginning in modern society and shit has deteriorated ever since.

I am no exception. Not much more than 6 months ago I was unhaaaaapy. My story is known to some here, but I felt something was wrong. Something was missing.

I worked 2-3 jobs, 55-65 hours a week over 6 days. I poured $1,300,000 into two marriages over 23 years and raised 7 children, 3 of them from 2 other fathers.

And yet, after all that, I was unhaaaapy.

Imagine that.

And then I started to wonder.

And then I found MRP.

And then I was PISSED.

When I finish the first phase of reclaiming my masculinity, I will use that blueprint to help those behind me to reclaim what they have lost, or in many cases, never had.

My purpose is to be a beacon of freedom for any and all within my sphere of influence to use my light to find their way forward in the valley of the shadow of THEIR death until such time as they crest the valley wall and find their own light.

My mission is to covertly introduce as many men as possible to RP wisdom and help them unplug from the matrix of the gynocracy, one man at a time.

My first testing ground are my 5 sons and my daughter.

Everything in my life revolves around my mission and it has for many years. So much so I lost a wife over it LOL

It does not translate very well to other people, it is a very specific thing for me and it requires me to be at the top of my game in all areas I can. I have a whiteboard in my living room - on it I keep track of virtually everything I need to do from very small current things to large projects years out. Each day I literally cross a couple of things off that list and add others. In the last ten years I learned to weld, to machine, to drive a bulldozer, to do concrete work, built a house from scratch (with my son), started lifting for the first time ever (been a runner all my life), went from being 20 grand in debt with no savings to having a paid off house and vehicles and lots of cash in the bank, dropped 60 pounds and am down at 11 percent BFat.

And I still have quite a bit of work to go.

What has been most interesting to me is I spent the first 40 years with no real mission other than have fun, try new shit. Now I can see how all these incredibly small steps day after day after day change you as you move closer and closer to the end game. I'd always been a procrastinator and kind of only interested in Big steps - I have learned how that focusing on getting SMALL things done again and again is really the only way to get to a large goal. If I thought about eating the whole elephant I would never have taken my first bite.

So yeah - mission - changed everything in my life.

Baby steps for me. My starting out strategy has been to become the kind of man who has that mission. So far, six weeks in, the results are literally unbelievable. Progress is both painfully slow and incredibly fast at the same time. Slow in the things that I started off literally focusing on (my marriage, sex life, fitness, etc) and fast in things that I never saw coming in a million years until they actually happened (new relationships, business opportunities, kids responding and flourishing, sense of self-worth and satisfaction, big ideas, employees responding better, wearing some awesome clothes I have never had the chance to fit into, and more). I have a prioritized goal not to go to bed every day until I've done at least one thing to improve myself, my home, or my business.

I have a military background. Developing a mission was easy.

It’s one sentence.

Have an awesome life on my terms, full of relationships and opportunities.

But to develop a long term vision of your life you have to develop the short term goals. A soldier can’t be expected to assault a fortified position unless he’s fit, trained, and ready.

Start training your mission will develop.

To me, the stated objectives of your mission should be things that you take action to move forward, every single day.

I put mine in my OYS every week, but without going back and copying it verbatim it's basically "live to 100, make my company successful, and have an awesome life".

For me the live to 100 bit is important because a big part of improving myself is taking steps to take care of my body, eat right, and not fill myself full of toxic junk, recreational or otherwise. I frame a lot of my daily choices around that goal. Same for the other aspects of the mission as well.
