Hi everyone,

Disclaimer: This is not a post to complain about my height. Just some questions about how women perceive height.

I'm a 5'8 male (when bare feet). With shoes around 5'9 (maybe 5'10 with Nike Air Max and good posture).

Does height matter less for shorter women? If I'm 5'8 and a girl is 5'7, I will seem "short" for that girl when around 5'11-6'0 guys. If I'm 5'8 and the girl is 5'2 to 5'3, I'm guessing that since we're not eye level the difference between 5'8 and 5'11 is less of a huge deal.

Do women instinctively search for a complementary height man (4-5 inches taller than them) or is bigger simply better?

Note: Please do not give personal stories about how your 5'2 friend at the club "slays" because he has good game. Or use bad examples like Tom Cruise or RD JR. I also know that height preferences vary across women (the same way men care differently about rack size). I'm just interested in general trends.
