This may seem slightly off topic but I think it's a discussion worth having.

My psychologist recently recommended I try a trial period of Vyvance after having diagnosed me with ADHD. Truly, my problem is a complete lack of self discipline. My lifestyle is far too lax and my work ethic is non-existent. I have few people to blame but myself at this point (I'm 22) but I'm falling behind in my classes and at this rate may not even graduate despite having spent so much time AND money for this degree I don't even have yet.

From research and discussion with a friend who's been on Vyvance for a year or so, I think this could be what I need to kick my ass into shape and catch up on my classes, and just as importantly, reshape my lifestyle into a more consistently productive and responsible one. Today is my 2nd day on it and so far I have seen improvements and have been focusing well.

At this time I invite anyone with any knowledge or experience whatsoever with this drug to please share with this sub. How did Vyvance/Adderall affect you? Was it as addicting as we are told? Would you recommend it for someone in my situation?

Thank you all in advance.
