Too many people here obsessed with control. This girl isn't yours yet. You don't know what her plans are. It's the weekend, maybe she's going to a party. I sleep in til like 2PM some Saturday's after I've been drinking.

Talking to girls today is very different than it was 5 years ago. With Tinder being as popular as it is, any single girl at any given time not committed to any particular guy could be talking to dozens of men simultaneously. You can't blame for for it either.

So she's not down for lunch tomorrow. Whatever. The next logical step is, in my opinion, to soft next her and when/if she contacts you again invite her out for drinks either that night or the following night. An evening activity. If she blows you off after this then hard next.

Edit: also next time don't invite her, tell her.

"Meet me for drinks tonight." "Come meet me for lunch tomorrow at such and such place."

Don't ever ask.
