Hey guys, I have been gaining some serious momentum with approaching random girls on campus and getting their numbers to meet up with them later. I get rejected a lot for various reasons which is expected but I'm starting to think that it will damage my reputation. There are a couple of big sororities on campus and I've approahed multiple girls in these same sororities. Eventually people are going to catch on to this.

I'm starting to think that if I keep doing this at this volume, I'm gonna start becoming "that guy" who approaches a lot and gets rejected. (I don't think I'm creepy about it, I just ask them what they study and what they like about it, etc.)

First question is, does it matter that I become "that guy"? is this a bad thing? If it is, what would be a better way to get to know more girls and eventually end up getting to have sex with them? (I'm not in a rush, whatever it takes to build the foundation to do it right)

Secondly, I'm trying to get a better social life in general with the people I meet on campus but I find myself only approaching girls, what are some action steps I can take to make friends in general and become the "popular" guy on campus? (after having approached many girls with honest interest, I'm down to conquer any social situation and get out of my comfort zone to accomplish this)

Note: I'm 24 in college full time and have a part-time "adult job" so I'm very busy and can't really rush a fraternity. That opportunity has passed. that being said, I want to still go to frat/college parties for the sake of getting more popular.
