I kinda think we're not supposed to actively fight our feelings when we're really into someone, even when they don't want us back. Some people fall for people harder than others. We can only control what we do with that attraction.

That being said, one always has to keep in mind that until the feelings have been reciprocated and the relationship consummated (many times over, preferably), that the bottom can fall out at ANY time. That person may not be who you believe them to be, they can ghost on you with absolutely no explanation.

I just tell myself to not be afraid of bonding, but also to beware that bond; the earlier on things are, the more easily that bond can be severed.
