Hispanic guys punch above their weight all the time. If he's not an outlier, he's hyper-social, moody (emotional spikes) and an energetic if not good dancer. Another part of it is their women have less obesity issues (at least at that age. Look at Mexican restaurant menu vs junk food menu) so a slim chica isn't as massively outnumbered as with some other groups.
