Most men over react to a woman "cheating".

First, a woman can hold her breath, or hold a piss, but eventually she's going to breathe, take a piss.

You can take cheating personal or you can realize it had nothing to do with you. Regardless of a man's frame or SMV or alpha status, a woman is going to stray eventually. It's just their nature and nothing can change that.

It's not about you most of the time. It's about her and women's nature. She in all likelihood had no idea you'd even find out. She just had to do it, she's driven to do it.

Far to many men, with no options at all, immediately ghost or breakup and that's exactly the wrong thing to do. They should just ignore it, get options, then bail.

When a man bails early, he loses the opportunity to observe the behavior of a cheating woman and that's a really good education to get.

She cheats, you develop options, you learn from her behavior, options appear, you bail.

She's going to be with someone else. It can be her with someone else and you're still the main or you can be all alone, optionless, and not learning the behaviors of a cheating woman who thinks you don't know.

You're definitely not the only one, so don't feel alone or like you've fucked up. Shit happens and many people have cheated and do cheat.

It's a matter of identifying it and finding the people who don't.

In the case of men, having an abundance mentality is what can help fix that. "Yeah, it sucks I got cheated on, but I have other options."

Equally effective is just not giving a shit. "One person cheated on me. There's billions more out there. It's not going to destroy me."

It's easier said than done, but positive thinking and/or having options in your love life go a long way, and even if you can never truly get rid of the hurt you feel from betrayal, in terms of romance or anything else, you can prevent it from overtaking you.

My wife cheated with another women just under 2 years ago. We are still together in counseling. A lot of counseling is BS. It has been hard but it we are working through it. I'm not sure you can ever get over the trust issue. You have to learn to settle for degrees of trust. And come to the conclusion that you cannot watch everything. Who wants to.
