I've never really cared about what or how many pets a woman has.

I do know that women who have pets in their dating profile pictures are more often than not, fucking crazy in some way. I'm not sure why this is, it's just something I've learned over the years.

I find horses to be a much bigger red flag.

I look at it like this. As long as a girl is taking 100% care of her animals and understands that I'll kick them off the couch as needed, then I don't really care.

Basically, if it isn't a problem, it isn't a problem. I have met many crazy girls who had no cats at all.

My current ltr has one household cat that she's had for 18 years. She also has about 2-3 more that she feeds and takes care of, but they are street cats or outdoor cats. Personally, it never came off as a red flag, I took it more as a passion/love/hobby, whatever you want to call it, that she had. She volunteers at a cat shelter, knows how to give them shots, and just basic all around care and knowledge about them.

I took more as green flag because she actually knows what's she is doing rather than just hording and keeping every cat she comes in contact with.

As a rule of thumb, if the number of people in the household > number of pets, you should be ok.
