Man, chill out and let yourself recover - don't go hard non-stop. Or go hard at something else (if that's what you are asking).

If you are physically incapable of running around and doing things do this - research stuff you always wanted to but had no time for. If you feel inspired - sit down and plan your future, make plans for the year, schedule things (basically get things in order and outline your future moves).

Otherwise, read read read lots of books you are interested in but had no time for before. Re-connect with some friends/relatives that you think are important for you (I mean phone calls, internet, skype)

Basically, lines things up to hit the ground running when you recover.

Just go to the damned doctor and if it's bad you'll get a tonsillectomy. In the interim the doc will give you antibiotics. Keep lifting but ask the doc.
