So I like reading (mostly books that can teach me something), I like going to the gym (and lifting HEAVY AS FUCK), I like teaching, I like being around people and conversing and stuff like that.

I've read in many books and many posts to build an interesting life for yourself... go to art exhibitions, wine tastings, go rock climbing, go fishing, take dance lessons... but how much of this is a buffer, i.e. using something as an excuse to avoid meeting women directly? Must I really develop an interesting life, or is just going after women enough?

On a given day I can go out and daygame... or I can go take a dancing class (but I used to dance for many years which made me not know how to communicate verbally with women), volunteer somewhere (but it would primarily be to meet women) go climbing or do some physical sport / activity (which might inhibit my workouts), go to a wine tasting (but alcohol messes with my workouts), go to an art gallery (I'd have much more fun doing this as a date rather than going alone), dance lessons (I do enjoy the music but it's like why do all this shit just to meet a women).

Sorry this is a ramble but do you get where I'm coming from? I'm sort of conflicted as to how I should go about building out my life. Every time I go out to game women for that sole purpose it feels like I'm wasting my time, but then every time I pick up interesting hobbies like dancing (which I did for many years) it ALSO feels like I'm wasting my time.
