I am not 100% on that diet and I do eat some vegetables and fruits here and there, but since eating more meat I feel 💯 times better.

I did carnivore for a few months. I enjoyed it, and even made strength gains. The problem is your body is using the meat to produce glycogen for your muscles (instead of straight carbs) so you need a fuckton of it. There were days where I'd have steak and eggs for breakfast and then an entire roast chicken for dinner and still be hungry. It was prohibitively expensive :(

I been feasting on meats and veggies which is paleo diet for couple months now.

Keep doing what you're doing. The only reason the carnivore diet got any mainstream attention is because it's very effective for an extremely small portion of the population who have very specific dietary (and auto-immune) issues.

Eat plenty of meat and have some veggies on the side. There is no reason to go full on carnivore.

I've been doing it at least 90% of the time for the past 5 years. Easy to stay lean (~12%), and never had recovery problems in the gym. I'm a huge fan of protein leverage and have nothing against using fibrous vegetables to bulk up the diet for cost purposes, but my appetite never demanded more than 2-3 pounds of meat. I'm content being super minimalist with both training and diet , I don't like wasting too much time "perfecting" either. It is pretty monotonous though, so personality is going to play a large role on your mileage with it

I would say that it works, but I guess it depends on individual. I tried it in September last year. But I have to say that the first 2 weeks were terrible, meaning pain all over my muscles, little to no energy at all and your muscles will get smaller cause they will not have that many carbohydrates to bulk up. I got to 9% fat.

Vegetables are advised for fiber, healthy source of carbs to help you metabolize the protein, and various other nutrients.

Been doing it for 6 months now. Lots of improvements. Bulked up without training. Injuries healing. Sick recovery once started training. Improvement in psoriasis (skin condition). More energy. Better moods.

I’m more relaxed with it now, having some carbs, fruits, veggies here and there. But it works for me and I’ve decided to always center my eating around getting in lots and a wide variety of high quality animal products.
