How effective is it if the chick your practicing dread game is hotter than the girl your flirting with?

"Dread game" is a concept this sub sucks at. It's like LTR game. People just upvote shit because they've heard it before, and a bunch of bad advice looks like a consensus, because it's upvoted by people who have no idea what the fuck they're talking about. You'll get very sparse advice for LTR game here, and just accept that.

Anyway, here's my advice from years of experience. It's WAY easier to dread from the bottom. Girls are fucking amazing at knowing where they are on the totem pole. Guys are stupid jackasses on that front.

If you're in an LTR and you think it will bother your girl that you're reaching at the top of the totem pole, she'll fucking laugh. She'll actually wink at the girl, and they'll both take some sort of delight in your failure. I wish I were kidding. I'm not.

"Dread" is not this wonderful thing people make it out to be. LTR comes up, and people start screaming 'athol kay' and 'you need to dread her' and such.

If you want to get the most bang for your buck... and I do, then don't dread high unless you're really on the upper level. 'Dread' two rungs below your LTR and just say something like "She's really interesting." Or "I like her style" or "She seems like she really cares about people."

"Dread" is not a pussy contest. If you have any girl worth keeping, she'll win a pussy contest, and she'll win a cock contest, too. Real dread game is making her feel just a little uncomfortable... like some chick a bit lower on the totem pole might come in and suck your cock in such a way, that you wander off.

Women date up, not sideways or down. Women branch swing and find excuses to leave men who they perceive as lower SMV than themselves. Dread works because it presents the possibility that she might not be good enough for you in subtle but undeniable ways. However, if she has any brains in her head and has a rough estimate of her own SMV, she will not only not take your dread seriously, but will view you as inferior if your dread involves a less-attractive woman.

Don't flirt with less attractive women. Why? Slumming is bad. Not worth it, don't do it. Take a lesson from the ladies and don't date down.

Dread game only works if the other girl is as hot as or hotter than your current girl, or you have multiple girls with same/lower SMV.

It can work if they are close, due to the social approval your flirting provides. Allow me some calculations:

Your LTR = HB7

Flirtation target = HB6

HB6 + social approval of your flirting = HB7 equivalent

HB7 - negging from her hamster when you flirt with another woman = HB6 equivalent

They must be close in SMV, or it has no chance of being successful. To be perfectly forthright, it has little chance of succeeding regardless. Misapplied dread game directly leads to branch-swinging, so it should only be used 1) if you are willing to lose the relationship, and 2) if you know precisely how to do it.

Experience is the best teacher. Unless you can get Aristotle. If you can get Aristotle then get him, otherwise, Experience.
