Learn as much as you can. Once you feel confidence, hit that leetcode. If that seems easy then you are on your way and don’t need help here for processing your career.

Look for small businesses around you with really shitty websites (trust me there are a fuck ton of them) and charge them a few hundred dollars to revamp it for them. That is the easiest way to build out your portfolio.

That being said this isn't a great time to get into it as the economy is about to be fucked

I recommend you to put as much hours as you physically can and to ask questions, don't get stuck. I work at a FAANG, you can PM me if you need career tips.

I’m on a similar boat. I’ve been going off and on with different coding learning websites. I decided to stick to the Odin project - let me know if you decide to go this route.
