So simple question discussion etc I'm a like mid 20s guy and over pandemic I've bulked up a long past the point where people 'start to notice' and inevitably they ask 'you looker a lot bigger have you been working out?' . Now obviously I can't say 'yeh check out my phone I've documented all workouts and progress and I've been rigidly calculating for progressive overload etc...'. My best answer was 'lol nah not really tbh I've just been eating more consistently and I stopped skipping meals...' (after the pandemic I can say I started playing basketball more and my chest got big or something) and played it down like I'm naturally like this if I eat 3 meals a day. So should I always play it down like this and act like I never gym or what? I wonder because is there something to be said for like the dedication, achievement, consistency, self improvement, perceived strength that comes with maybe saying I've been hard at work in the gym and stuck with it for a year plus?

TL;Dr Gyming shows character, but if I deny it I sound naturally Alpha etc which ideal wins out for girls/for respect etc
