You need to block her on everything. I have a nasty case of oneitis for an ex as well. Despite everything I’ve changed since we broke up, despite having a plethora of other girls available, despite knowing what a toxic person she is... I know I’d still get back with her in a heartbeat given the opportunity.

You need to eliminate the potential for her in your life. Almost a year after we broke up, this ex sent me an iPhone shared album request called “please answer,” from her work email (which I evidently didn’t block). It took everything in my power to no respond to that request and not open the album. Threw me off track for a week, just like this message is throwing you.

If you’ve got oneitis, it can be real difficult to get rid of it. Best route imo is to completely eliminate the possibility of her popping up in your life. It’s for the best.
