I've thought of this exact same question many times myself. My take on it is that in a club/festival environment you can afford to wear basically the nicest things you have and given the social environment, it looks appropriate. During day game however out on the street or in a cafe, I would still say to wear quality and well fitting clothing that looks good on your body, but perhaps here it can be toned down to not scream that one is trying too hard, even though with the right frame you can pull almost everything off.

Whatever fits and is well coordinated. Avoid sneakers unless at gym.

I’m similar. I always get complimented on my shoes/boots/footwear. Rarely however will people notice my Dualmatic or Seamaster I usually rock. When they do; I’m certainly more open to interacting with those who share an interest in the finer things in life.

It’s just a matter of taste. I’ve found those who share mine will often share other things as well.

But if you like wearing quality stuff you absolutely should. Don't compromise for others.

Need more style in this sub, I recently stopped wearing jeans as I’ve found trousers and slim fitting dress pants to be my go to now with some old school vans and a nice sweater some rings or a watch and never forget your Jesus piece around the neck

There was just a post on the main sub about peacocking. It’s find to wear flashy clothing, you just need to make sure you have the confidence to rock it.
