What’s up boys. I have this girl I am seeing that says she is insecure about me. We see each other pretty often since I only have one other plate and this is is my favorite one of the two. She is going for a ltr and I am currently vetting her (1 month).
She was already insecure, but it has increased due to her seeing multiple texts from different girls on my phone. (My sloppiness)
She overtly told me she doesn’t think we should hang this week and that in order to feel more secure she thinks she should talk/fuck other guys.
I obviously don’t want her to do this since I am vetting her for ltr and yes I may get jealous or whatever, but I’ve learned that there is nothing I can really do about her seeing other men.
I held frame and tried to ease her worries about me. And gave her some breadcrumbs so she can chill. She was able to calm down a bit and relax. Idk what she is going to do when she is not with me but that’s life.
I would like to continue seeing her but it is wayyy to early to promote her to ltr. She has been doing very good so far, but I am not fan of these sparks of manipulation. I can dismiss it and send her on her on way, but I don’t think that’s the best strategy, especially since I want to continue seeing her.
I am currently reading up on The Talk and Ultimatums and will be digging through the sidebar for ways to handle girls pushing for commitment too early, but could use some direct advice or direction on how to handle this.
I am 24.
