You are aware women can be creative, plan, and occasionally are tons of fun, right? Right?

Some of the best dates I've been on have been pulled off by ladies who executed without an ounce of effort on my part. I see no reason to be afraid of her coming up with "her own idea."

Decide. Do you want to do it? Then go for it! If you have something planned already then do that, she wants you to be happy and have fun more than she wants to carry out her idea. This becomes complicated if you're in a serious relationship, enough rejection leads to resentment.

If she does it occasionally then its a sign she particularly wants to do that activity. No harm.

If she does it all the time, desperately, many more times than you do, its a sign you're not leading her where she wants to be and she has taken that burden on herself to be an example to you of what she wants/needs. She'll lead for a while, then if she's the sort of girl who'd rather be led (like most are) she'll get depressed, then she'll get angry, then she'll get out around about the same time you've adjusted to being led.

The reason why guys are told here to take the lead is in large part because women usually can't be fucked to do it, and also because asking them for guidance makes them despise you. If she comes up with an idea, there's absolutely no problem in those respects.
