I've been following trp for years and I've learned so much from it. I went from a passive-aggressive virgin to spinning plates and finally feeling like things made sense. All I'd ever wanted was to meet a girl, to be her first for everything, and to marry her. I had multiple girls like that, that I could be their first. But I knew they weren't LTR material, that I'd get bored or that it would end badly.

I met a girl a couple months ago that seemed right. She seemed like what I wanted, and as I got to know her, I felt more and more that she could be right for me. She'd never had a boyfriend, she only had a few close friends, and she was absolutely gorgeous. Obviously this wouldn't make sense, but her introversion was ridiculous, which explained a lot. I slowly got to know her, and things escalated, but eventually she explained her personal belief was that she wanted to wait until marriage. I don't think she's wrong for that, but I don't want to get married early, no matter how sure I am that she's right for me. I know waiting for sex that long would be torture, and even if she was completely perfect in every way, I can't see it being worth that misery.

Anyways, I told her it wouldn't work. I explained that I'd tried waiting before, that it doesn't work, and that I really did care about her but I didn't want to see it get to the point where I was so bothered by not having sex so much that we despised each other and broke up. She cried. I left.

I know this will probably get reposted to TBP and they'll laugh about my lack of sensitivity and overall shittyness. I know this will be labelled as textbook oneitis. I know as much as I think she was right, I'll be told she wasn't. I just want some support. All my friends are beta virgins, they all ask me for girl advice, so I can't really go to them for support.

That's all. Thanks.
