OK, I’ve read the sidebar, searched the sub, and trounced around the Interwebs. Good start, some dead links, and a few no-longer-applies-to-me / needs-expanding advice.

I’ve started completely over. Divorce cost me exactly everything but my kids. Moved to a new city with nothing and struggled my way from jobless/homeless into a career change (at the bottom) and a roommate. I’m working to move up financially, but seriously distracted by loneliness. Years worth.

How do I build a social circle from here that will lead to a better class of acquaintances that will expand my social proof, and eventually get me back into meeting more women? Sidebar doesn’t have a lot for older guys. I’m not going clubbing, or joining a a beer league at this point.

Because of my socioeconomic predicament, the fact that I’m 5’7” on a good day, and staring 50 dead in the eyes—I haven’t been laid in 3 years (Not for a lack of trying). Basically I’m a small old man making just enough money not to die.

I have exactly zero local friends or family. I lift and dress well, but at 160lbs and no abs it doesn’t count for much. I’m charming af, but my age-to-SMV is really low. Coworkers are either large military men busy with families and deep friendships, or clucking hens. Neighbors are way outside of my financial ability to hang or raging alcoholics. Meetup has been a bust.

Have I just aged out of the (social) game? Where do I go from here? I feel like I’m just waiting to die, and it has nothing to do with depression or lack of frame - just a consistent lack of success.
