I think it's part of a man's RP journey to learn how to be an absolutely obnoxious arrogant prick, and own it 100%. Give yourself full permission to be the prick.

It is by far better to overdo this assertiveness and push into ridiculous territories, than to underdo it and be an agreeable nobody. What you're looking for above all is a state where you stop caring whether you seem like a prick to somebody. You just don't care.

That's the point where they will start thinking of you as the genuine deal. And at the same time, you will naturally start to tone yourself down a lot - and kinda emanate love at people instead of arrogance. You need the arrogance to emanate love properly, nobody wants boring meek love in a man.

Think of it like this: You are walking down a busy street, and see your destination on the horizon.

Focus your eyes on where you are going and keep them fixed there. If anyone is in your way, get around them. If your goal is urgent, get there as quickly as possible.

As long as you are able to walk away from an interaction with little to no consequences, you will tell people, "We are going to things XYZ way" and then do them. If they resist, you leave and move on towards your goal.

Most people do not have the courage to resist a determined person.

Congruence. You can't walk around and be assertive unless you're in a position to. At work, are you the boss who've worked there for 10+ years or the kid who just started and barely know anyone?

The mere act of you analyzing wether they find your jokes offensive or funny is what causes people to get offended. Get free from outcome and dgaf.

Maybe you are being aggressive / offensive when you are trying to be assertive. Speak always in a calm, but firm tone, and slow gestures. You dont need to explain yourself to anyone.
