Get in the best possible shape via lifting and dieting
Read everything that you see listed here: Models, 48 Laws, etc.
Approach men and women; men for building up a social network and women for learning game

Once you are in a great shape, with a giant social circle of men/women and are charasmatic with good game then you will be of to a good start.

Also, never get married.

Someone once said (and I stole) alpha isn't a destination, it's a route.

That said, the on-ramp involves being physically imposing, but not threatening. You want to gather attention but not ruled or craving it. Well-read and educated. Well groomed (this means different things in different contexts - you don't have to wear a $600 suit, but everyone needs to be clean, with clothes that fit correctly).

Also, try to smile. Laugh and have a good time.

Self-actualize for selfish reasons: become who you want to be. Recognize that there's nothing wrong with being selfish and acting solely for selfish reasons, but also realize that not being an asshole / sometimes being kind to others is beneficial to you from a self-serving perspective - purge anyone you don't have a symbiotic relationship with from your life. It's not complicated: whether you can do it or not is another matter. Also, this isn't how you become "Alpha". Don't try to be Alpha, that's fucking stupid. Your only duty is to be the best version of yourself.

With how little other men apply themselves, this will also likely result in you being a leader of men, ie. "Alpha". But that should never be your goal - power grabs for the sole purpose of power are easily seen through & universally despised despite the contradiction of power being a means only to more power. Let purpose be the driver for your power and you'll make it easier for others to join you by letting them know why you are doing what you're doing.

The aforementioned is straightforward - whether you can do it or not is another matter.
