It's only very recently I realised that everyone is actually very selfish. I have social anxiety and my interactions never went deep. On one hand, this gave me protection but on the other hand it now feels like a true RP moment where I am really seeing just how shitty people actually are.
I am in the UK and I have been at university for a long time. In some ways its a total safe space. The lecturers and admin people are generally people who want to help you. Your fellow students just want to do their work. But its only now I also realise just how much there is really going on. I was always focused on getting my degree done that the world just passed me by. Now I realise that the guys around me were actually planning many steps ahead. I shudder to think how I will survive at work, especially now that I think I may have ADHD.
It really seems now then that we are no better than pack animals or primitive tribes. This has completely ruined my faith in the world, so guys, just how does society go on if we really aren't that much more advanced than we think we are?
