Here's what it means:
You're attracted to various chicks. You might have an 9 locked down but if an 8 seems like an opportunity, you'll want her. They're all very tempting. You'll pick a new 8 over a new 7 but you'll feel more of man taking the new 8 (or 7) over the old 9.
If a chick has a 9 locked down - and I mean in attractiveness as a whole, not only looks - anything under it is invisible and anything above it is "a rational choice, we all want the best".

Big difference is that women are protected by law. If you are married and trade your wife for a younger one, she gets to divorce rape you.

Man and women are biologically different. Hypergamy is a "feature" of women, while poligamy is a "feature" of men. The same man can impregnate hundreds of women, but for a woman to have a kid is something VERY costly. Why would a woman get impregnated by a low-mid value male when she can do it by a high value male? She wont get commitment from the high value one, but then there are tons of thirsty betas for that. So, biology makes it that women wants gets her hands on the best possible male so she can to have the best genes possible for her kids, and men want to fuck everything that moves to spread his genes. Why do men have hots for young women, big hips, big tits? Signs of fertily. Why do women have hots for high value males, strong, tall, alpha, decisive, confident? Good genes for her babies. All of those are not rational decisions, attraction is not logical, its just biology.

Branch swinging is a reality or the "red pill". How you react to taking the pill is up to you. Be angry at Morpheus? Be remorseful like Cypher? Or accept reality for what it is and build your own path?

All women are capable, and have at least in part, a tendency to branch swing the moment a better offer is made, aka for increasing the outcome of her offspring. Same for men noticing a younger, aka more fertile, piece of ass. Understanding the red pill allows you to make whatever choice you want, moral or immoral one.

That is not what hypergamy is. Hypergamy is the tendency exhibited by women to only consider as potential mates men with higher status than their own, i.e. dating "up". Dumping a man for another man of higher status is NOT hypergamy, you're mixing things up here.

I would agree in part, however, I don't think recognising hypergamy is the same as criticizing it. Men and women operate under completely different paradigms. The guys criticizing hypergamy are those who are most likely still in the anger phase. We don't get angry at lions for doing lion stuff. Our natures are fundamentally different. In regards to leaving a woman for someone hotter + younger, that isn't as common as the reverse. To me, TRP is about becoming entirely independent and the best version of myself as a man. Any commitment I give is on my own terms. This is different to the narrative commonly pushed on us as a society; that men should work hard to keep women happy and comfortable. The Manipulated Man goes into this quite a bit, as does the Misandry Bubble.

Our SMV backslides during a LTR, hers does not. Most men take months to get back into dateable shape (mentally and physically). Women an hour or two.

Fundamentally though: who gives a fuck about men. This subreddit concerns our approach to women and their nature. We are dismantling the women are wonderful bias that they get.
