People are giving you a hard time, but in my opinion yes....your SMV can indeed be too high. It took me a long long time to realize this for myself. Not to be a dick, but I'm a solid 8 amongst all ages, and within my own age demographic I'm a 9. My wife is the same so that helped confirm any doubts about my SMV I may have had. I could never understand why most of my life I NEVER got overtly hit on by girls, but when I'd go anywhere with a friend who was several points below me in SMV (like 5/6 dudes) I'd get clear flirtatiousness from lots of attractive girls. I finally realized it's because girls get uncomfortable around good looking guys, and my friends would provide the ice breaker they needed to talk to me. Apparently I'm a little slow on the uptake.

If a girl sees you as a 10 out of 10, high smv, lots of money, and alpha lol, she will just be overly submissive and most likely very insecure. If your girl isn't overly submissive of you, you're not there yet.

Yes. I've seen it happen with a buddy of mine who wanted me to go with him to approach a table full of 5s. I said, "no", and he went anyway. They all rejected him, and he doubled over in laughter.

If the disparity is too great, girls realize they will just be a pump-n-dump.
