On most phones, when you get a text, your phone chimes and the text message stays displayed on your lock screen until you read it. Do you think she went an entire day without unlocking her phone or reading that text?

If you see her in the dorm, be polite but vague. She no longer exists as a "woman," to you, because only women who are interested matter.

She is now just a "person" of no particular interest. Treat her like a guy you might need to borrow some printer paper from someday, but don't particularly want to hang out with.

You should act like it was a nothing. Because that's what it was.

You couldn't care less that she didn't reply, and next time you'll know better about what to text girls, after askTRP raked you over some coals for your current mess up. So it's no big deal.

When you see her in the hall or whatever, be chill/cordial, say hello - but no pressuring her to talk beyond that. You're in your space, she's in hers, show her you're perfectly fine without her attention. If she starts orbiting and trying to sneak into your space, then welcome her, but again you want to handle it easy-like, without any super-dooper enthusiasm and desperation.

Worst thing you could possibly do is send her more texts like "hello? anyone home?", and you didn't even do that yet. It's really a nothing, and who knows you might hear from the girl later anyways. They get confused all the time, at first she thinks this guy's totally creepy asking her when her classes end... but then she doesn't get any more texts from him and she starts thinking, maybe he's not creepy, and actually was kinda cute and she should say something instead of being a cunt to him. They constantly bounce back and forth like this, constantly insecure about where she stands in the world and should stand. Works in your favour in this case too.
