You’re young. Try to raise it naturally first. Once u start, it’s for life usually. The problem is most endocrinologists aren’t as educated on the subject as they should be. I had to study endocrinology on my own for 2 years before I started trt. And out of 6 doctors I interviewed, only one, yes, ONE, knew more than me. But I was 28 with total levels at 324. Raised them to 410 on my own in 2 years but it wasn’t enough. Free t was 9.1 on a reference range of 9-25. E2 was 24.

Once I started at THIRTY (not 20), I took hcg every other day along with it from day 1. This is very important. It’s your escape route as it keeps the testicles going. Total T hovers at 900-1200. Free T is around 28. E2 is around 30. And everything’s fine.

And like you I had lifted my whole life since I was a teenager. So try your best to raise it on your own. U don’t want to disrupt your endocrine system until you’re at least 26 Since that’s when the HPTA finishes developing.

Free testosterone doesn't really mean much, granted 377ng/dl is on the lower end. What's your free testosterone? SHBG? Estradiol? These will give you a better understanding of your testosterone levels. Those telling you to pin at 20 years old with one blood test of one hormone value are probably not very educated on the effects of exogenous testosterone on your endocrine system. What makes you feel like your testosterone levels are low, considering your mental health is better now?

You can buy a lab online for $75 and get your levels checked, it’s insanely easy. Those levels are pretty tragic and I would definitely start looking into TRT options. However I would focus on cleaning up your diet and living an active lifestyle for the next few years and start at ~23 y/o. For example a healthy male your age could have test at 900ng/dL and it’s in a completely healthy range. You can imagine the effect doubling your testosterone would have.

I personally believe you can safely administer it yourself with some research and fairly frequent bloodwork as it’s a lot cheaper. Otherwise there are online clinics that make it incredibly easy to get. Just submit some blood work that shows you have low levels.

Don’t be afraid of injecting, after the first couple times it’s no worse than taking a pill every few days and is painless with the right needles. It will seriously be life changing if your levels are that low.
