I think it's only a problem if it's recurrent. In an LTR you can't just demand that she never has any problems that prevent sexy time. Sometimes she genuinely has a headache or upset stomach, and stomping your feet every time demanding sex/BJs, it just seems needy.

I would recommend brushing it off like no big deal if it's just every now and then. If it becomes a recurrent problem then it's time to assert your needs.

If she only says this when she hasn't eaten then it could be true. That's an odd excuse to come up with if it isn't. Unless she's trying to hint that she'd like you to offer her some food or take her out to eat.

Define "occasionally" (once every ten instances is different from two out of five). It also depends on how often you normally get (or expect) oral (if she's turning you down twice a week, and you ask for oral once a day -- that's going to be different from getting turned down twice a week and only asking for oral three times over the course of a week).

If food is the issue, it's not hard to have a cup of soup or a quick snack. Delaying for 10-15 minutes while she eats a bit of food is the only reasonable (and honest) response. Saying "I can't do this without food" and then refusing to eat something indicates that she's full of nonsense.

This is also an issue that can be overcome through persistence and dedication. It may never be her favorite thing, but it's definitely something she should be willing to deal with for the sake of the man she loves - especially if you've made it clear that this is important to you.

Any user here that tells you it's unreasonable to expect consistency from your SO is wrong. It shows that they (the user issuing such useless advice) lacks the ability/skill to maintain consistency and attraction within their own relationship(s). Why would you listen to advice that tells you it's impossible to achieve the kind of dynamic you want? That's not what TRP is about in any way shape or form.

Her attitude should be "always, because I know this area of our relationship is extremely important." If you are balanced, maintain her attraction and respect - then she should only be hesitantly turning you down when she is legitimately sick (no "cough I have a headache" garbage).
