One of the things I have noticed I fail out is keeping my emotions in check at home when stress is through the roof. Finances, marriage, kids, etc...

I have been listening/reading that the man should never show a crack in his armor..how his woman will see it as weakness and lose respect. But for fuck sake, people are human beings. So while I work 2 jobs, covering medical bills (mostly for my wife), extra expenses for the kids for the summer (activities), gas, food, mortgage, etc... on top of a marriage that sucks (we are in a weird separation but still live in the home, but we are nice to each other), dealing with kids (anyone who has them knows what I mean)....I just find it very hard to not voice my opinion about something that is bothering me, especially financial since I handle the budget and the bills. I feel like, based on this site, if I raise a concern about something, I am beta or weak. It is difficult to get my head wrapped around because I have so much responsibility on my shoulders. I have sometimes just gone into the bathroom, turned on the vent/fan (for white noise), and just sat in there for 10 min to calm my mind.

I am very logical and always present a logical case for most of my decisions in the home. If there is pushback or I feel like she is using emotion versus logic, I get frustrated.

Just dealing with the finances everyday and trying to keep us above water is frustrating and stressful, which is no different then 99% of the world I know.
